OT: If You Could Party With One Sports Team In History...

False...Namath was internationally known...there have been books written about it. Dude shagged everything that moves...worldwide.
Jets at that time were bigger than knicks...

I grew up in NY at that time...Clyde was a bigger Star than Namath in NY....Thats Fact...every single kid growing up in NY at that time (Me included) had Clyde Posters all over their Bedrooms....Every kid in NY wanted to be Clyde from 68-78....No Fs given about Internationally Known...No Fs given about Namath with a Fur coat...when Clyde wore Fur coats on a Daily basis with his Fedora...Clyde Won 2 Championships Not one....Clyde was EASILY the most popular Sports Star in NY at that time....Ask ANY NYer who grew up in NY at that time (like myself) and they'll tell you exactly the same thing....And do not diminish how Crazy popular Seaver was....I know...because I was there at the time....Jets were NOT bigger than the Knicks those days....Books???....Lol...The #1 Book written for ANY NY Sports star was Rockin Steady about Clyde...written by Ira Berkow...Trust me my Man....

All my family and friends and I were born in NYC....unanimous that Joe Namath was and is bigger.....all have said it without question.
Its like comparing Dwayne Wade to Chris Bosh in popularity. Bosh is an all star and a future HOF but Wade is bigger in Miami, the USA...and Worldwide....
Why do think many of the sportscasters on ESPN, Fox, and NFL network are NY Jets fans? Also add in Celebrities who are as well. Because of Namath and the Jets they grew up with and everyones love for Namath from generations before.

Clyde is a HOFer....Namath was and always will be Overrated....Clyde Won 2 Rings...Not one....Clyde is a Top 50 NBA player....Namath isn't close to Top 50 in anything except Interceptions...Clyde...Monroe (**** Barnett)....Bradley...Debusshere...and Reed **** on the entire Jets team.....
