Former LSU quarterback Jamie Howard said on Baton Rouge radio Wednesday that he had spoken to current Tigers QB Brandon Harris, who was "shaken up" by tweets that wished death upon him after the season-opening loss to Wisconsin. LSU coach Les Miles said after Wednesday's practice that he didn't view the comments as legitimate death threats, but "you run it down" and check into who sent the message. "If a good ole weekly death threat is something that you're into, then you're making the wrong decisions," Miles said.

People are hilarious. They take fanaticism to an entirely new level. As a bigtime football player you should expect for people to hate you with a certain level of senselessness about it. Stop being so soft. This reminds me of when people were making a huge fuss about Jacory getting called the N word on twitter and some other dumb lil feminine vanity page.

Grow a pair. I need a qb with some fortitude in the testicular area.

"The mean ole internet man scared me, daddy"

wuss.

Totally agree. There are literally no nut job sec fans who might burn a guys apartment building to the ground after a loss.

No sympathy here for any kid that commits to a SEC school without thinking about what kinda people comprise their fanbases.

But why tell the media?

It comes off as soft. There are a lot of people that say dumb and threatening crap about players(especially when they suck) on every available forum.

Grow a pair. Prove the haters wrong.

Exactly. Lol. Lets be real here. You think the mob of the coliseum cares about your feelings?

They want blood!
