OT: I Couldn't Leave Blacksburg This Morning...

That guy sounds like an idiot talking shît to your wife. The VT people I know, and there are many, are actually ok. Just engineers who are used to a program that traditionally gets a lot of 3 stars and coaches them up in their system. They're not smug like the gaytors. Their townie, hillbilly fans are the ones that cause the problems.

I've worked with a couple of VT engineers in the past and they were both pretty reasonable guys. For the most part, VT fans are fairly reasonable and have shown me a lot of respect when they find out I'm a Cane. It's the UTK fans that are insufferable. They truly are as bad or worse than gayturds.

He was a dlck. I doubt he went to school there. Was just ****ed off they were losing. All talk - nothing to worry about. Also, tactically, it’s a bad move to talk shlt to someone sitting behind you. I’m a live-and-let-live guy, never look for trouble.

I've known a number of VaTech people over the years and I've liked all of them. I'm not a hater. I wanted them to beat FSU for the '99 NC. I had friends/acquaintences with son's starting for both teams (Justin Amman and Nick Sorensen.)

VT Is a good school and mostly decent alum. I’ve had bad experiences with thier fans a some night games up there over the years but Cuse fans where worse. Still, i hate VT

All fanbases have their asshoes, some more than others.

I’ve heard WV is the worst, I couldn’t tell you where VagTech ranks. Other than that one drunk sore loser, I’ve never had a problem. Plus it wasn’t like the guy was going to do anything.

To be honest, my observation based on years of going to football games is that in terms of Miami, Florida fans are the worst, with FSU running a close second.

To this day I have never heard the shlt I heard when I want to the night game in Gainesville back in the mid 2,000’s. A lot of fighting words where thrown around by their asshœle fans. Shlt that would normally get you stomped out.

When we beat them with Golden, I was walking out of whatever we called our stadium back then, just whooping it up, and I had this older man walk up to me and tell me we should win with class. The nerve. I held back from saying what I wanted to say, and told him to go have a warm glass of milk and take a nap, you’re cranky. I did add “pops” at the end which infuriated him. I thought grandpa was going to take a swing at me. I couldn’t stop laughing. Good times.

Two of my neighbors (husband & wife) are both engineers, and VT grads...Could'nt meet two better people.
