What are the odds that Pitt beats UCF? ACC is historically weak. And if Pitt loses to UCF it will make the conference look even that much worse.

The two best teams UCF plays this year are Pitt and USF. Yet they're ranked 13th in the country because of their Cinderella season last year. They're riding on a victory over an Auburn team that had checked out, didn't want to be in a consolation bowl against a non-Power 5 team and got surprised.

Pitt is pretty bad. But is UCF good? Can the Panthers beat them?

Greetings, Mr. Grover.

As of tonight, Bovada has the odds at -500 for UCF. This means that they are heavy favorites.

Well UNC beat Pitt. I don't think they will beat UCF.

I wouldn't worry too much about conference strength. The Pac-12 is basically another Washington loss away from being the de facto weakest conference. As long as Clemson keeps rolling then we pretty much control our own destiny too.

Milton is a stud as a college qb. They have good WR and RB's for their system. They would probably be the 2nd best team in the coastal and third best in the ACC. They have way more talent than the rest of their league so the schedule is a joke in comparison. Pitt beating them would be an upset, I wouldn't expect it.

The only game left for us that anybody will be paying attention to is Clemson (hypothetically). The rest of our schedule is garbage, regardless of who beats who.

Whilst the UNC game was great, we're still not at the point where that's the norm.

VT, BC and FSU shouldn't be overlooked.

Looks like UCF is about to destroy Pitt... Pitt is not good enough to give the knights any credibility anyway... right?

UCF should not be ranked in the top 10 at any point this season with the schedule they have. Scheduling two crappy Power 5 teams doesn’t impress me.

If you really believe that, then the same can be said for Miami because 2 of the teams on UCFs schedule are mainstays of Miami’s schedule. And GT, another annual Miami opponent, has already lost to USF - a team UCF will play at the end of the season.
UNC and Pitt are in Miami’s conference so obviously Miami has no choice. If you are UCF schedule better non conference opponents instead of those two, FAU, UConn, and South Carolina State.

They've been pretty lucky / smart about it. Beat a couple of Power 5 teams badly enough and they can continue with their "well it's not our fault our schedule is so weak, look at how we handled those two teams" argument on their way to another (ridiculous) NC claim.

Their one game against UNC got cancelled and won’t be made up I’m assuming and Pitt doesn’t look good. You want respect go play a couple teams that are good.

UCF is beating the dog **** out of PITT as expected.

And for those that don't know UCF is a very good team and deserving of the 13th ranking. Miami should be ranked in the Top 10. They have florida speed all over the field and are well coached. They have a lot of 4* and 3* kids that the big 3 didn't have room for or missed on. Killin was a beast for mainland and WR snealson was a top talent at WR.

UNC beat Miami two years ago and Pitt beat Miami last year and Clemson the year before. Their AD would have to be clairvoyant or at least have studied at Hogworts to make UVA, Pitt, UNC, Louisville, FSU and GT (teams that have been considered...good...within the ACC) good teams this year. Even VT and BC look suspect and there might be an argument that Wake and Duke would definitely lose to UCF. Only teams left in a 14 team conference are Clemson, Miami, Syracuse and NC State.

What you’re really saying is that they shouldn’t schedule ACC teams.
All I’m saying is UCF needs to schedule better opponents to get respect and to actually be considered for the playoff if they run the table. But they would have to beat a couple really good teams for a chance at the playoff.
