This is what's missing from wrasselin' today...no one has mic skills like this anymore. Ric is by far the best on the mic, imo. But guys like Flair, Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Legion of Doom, Rock, Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels.....none of the new guys are likable and their mic skills suck. Flair is a legend, but Rock's promos were **** good, same with Stone Cold. Shawn Michaels' promos were garbage, and Hulk's charisma got him over, it sure as **** wasn't his wrestling ability. The Ultimate Warrior and LOD weren't promo acts, their image is what got them over, they didn't have to talk(And they couldn't anyway).

Cena is a modern day Hogan, he's found a way to connect with fans, despite not being the best overall talent. He resonates with children, so of course adults don't like him. Flair was an adult act, kids hated him back in the day, because he was so villainous with the Horsemen, he was the ultimate arrogant, swaggering heel.

I have to disagree w u about the UW and LOD. Absolutely they were promos. It wasn't just their look. LOD was way more popular than Demolition b/c of their promos. And as far as Ultimate Warrior, he made u feel like he wasn't from this planet and even other wrestlers felt that way b/c he truly lived his character off camera in the locker room.
