OT: Gus M at Auburn fired...

The school isn't paying a cent of that buyout. Boosters are.

Has ZERO to do with an athletic programs ability to pay (which it doesn't if it has to keep title IX in place).
Then boosters should pay the players salaries. 🤷🏾‍♂️

imagine having 21 million for being average af at your job, maybe I should get into coaching

Be looking at the portal for one or even two of mark anthony Richards, dj Williams , or Sean shivers

He was o coordinator on their national champ team. He also took them to NC game as a coach and lost to FSU on final play. Also has beaten saban 3 out of 4 times at home. Also won the sec west in 17 or 18 when he beat both #1 Georgia and # 1 Alabama.

This was supposedly happening no matter what today. REading some stuff in various places. One of the big, big boosters is going off their board in March. Sounds like he is personally picking up a big chunk of this buyout. School isn't paying any of it....

Lashlee isn't even mentioned.

Cristobol, is #1, Billy Napier, Sarkisan, Kiffin, Fickell are a few. Kevin Steele was named interim. He is supposedly up at the top of the board, too.

Napier declined to continue in South Carolina interview process after second interview. Speculation he got wind this was going down.

Which is why the fact that Miami isnt currently a high revenue program isn't pertinent to the question of whether Miami has money to have a better program. It's all about boosters. Believe or not, Miami has lots of alumni (and non alum fans like A-Rod) with very deep pockets. They will give $$$ if Miami looks like a winner. I would not give Blake James a nickel. It's not a chicken and egg thing - at some point the program has to win with what it is has, then the donations will come in. Had Miami beaten UNC, then won a NY6 game and finished top 6, money would have been pouring in. Instead this season will mark the 15th in a row that Miami has not finished in the top 10. We probably didn't even need to beat UNC to finish the season top 10. It we'd lost a close game, Miami drops to #14, with an impressive bowl win, we could have snuck into the top 10. What happened yesterday was such an utter embarrassment that the donors likely sent Blake James's number to the FTC to place on the Do Not Call list.

Huh?

That doesn’t jive at all.

But I hope it doesn’t happen cuz one thing Crostobal can do is recruit Sf
Does not matter he will still lose. Like I have said before he can recruit his *** off but coaching if very iffy. Keep loving Mario who lost to the 2 worst teams in the Pac 12.

Anyone thinking Manny gets fired this season or next season has no idea what they’re talking about
and is most likely a plant. Put money on it.

If they did they wouldn't have renewed his contract after multiple 3/4/5 losses seasons. AUB is just another team (not named OSU and Clemson) just chasing their tails throwing **** on the wall and seeing if it sticks

It's kind of weird that Mullen hasn't signed an extension with UF. He's already the 6th or 7th highest paid. UF isn't going to give him Saban money. Wonder what he's waiting for.

If they don’t announce a new head coach tomorrow, they mishandled this
