He played phenomenally in this series. The heat were affected by injuries to be fair but the Lakers still had the best two players.

Yeah he’s insecure, yeah his absolute peak will never be MJ, but overall his career is astounding. 3 different teams to win a championship is incredible in year 17! That last sentence makes him unique. Before the pandemic hit they were starting to kick everyone’s ***, too, so the bubble excuse is weak.

Also No Phil Jackson. He did it with a very green Spoelstra (turning out to be a great coach), Ty Lue also a rookie coach at the time, and an average Vogel. Guy is unique in basketball history in so many ways.
