OT: FIU

If FIU wants to have a football program, they should have one.

Even it's only a few diehards and family members who make it to the stadium.

I watch pretty much all the midweek G5 games on TV, so I'm glad as a CFB junkie we have that option.

But I know it's brutal on attendance (though I'm guessing FIU's never has been that great?)
 
@Tony4Canes .....FIU wouldn't give Assistant Coaches Multi-yr contracts. The Equipment and Uniforms were old. And wait till you hear this....Coaches couldn't go on recruiting trips for financial reasons...smfh. Some things very similar to what Butch dealt with at UM. The Administration at UM nickle & dimed Butch to Death at UM in regards to recruiting....that I know as fact, and I've stated it many previous times.

armando´s brand is very strong. this is a great deal for him and somewhat of a redemption for guy that couldn´t afford to pay for a ticket to see a game of hoops. he´s a good, good guy and he´s never going to be on billy cohen´s Broke documentary

as a journalism student at UM, we had a writer from the herald as a guest speaker (fall 2002) and she told us about how she had just done an interview with the "sweetest young man" named pitbull who was an up and coming rapper. she also said he kept asking her if she wanted a blunt

If only he could have saved Palm Beach International Raceway. But alas, 2 million square feet of warehouse space was more important.

The county is not interested in having a race track near all the new houses being built out there. Might lower the property value and thus tax revenue

They're replacing it with warehouse space. I don't think any housing is planned for out there.

The housing developments are creeping further and further west. There used to be a whole lot of nothing off the turnpike out there but now you pass a bunch of neighborhoods on the way to the track
