It was a F-ing mess....Butch complained till he was blue in the face. Same thing he faced at UM...an Administration that didn't give af about the FB program.

If FIU wants to have a football program, they should have one.

Even it's only a few diehards and family members who make it to the stadium.

I watch pretty much all the midweek G5 games on TV, so I'm glad as a CFB junkie we have that option.

But I know it's brutal on attendance (though I'm guessing FIU's never has been that great?)

@Tony4Canes .....FIU wouldn't give Assistant Coaches Multi-yr contracts. The Equipment and Uniforms were old. And wait till you hear this....Coaches couldn't go on recruiting trips for financial reasons...smfh. Some things very similar to what Butch dealt with at UM. The Administration at UM nickle & dimed Butch to Death at UM in regards to recruiting....that I know as fact, and I've stated it many previous times.

Exactly. Can't be worse than MAC game.
