Now we know why all these media type led the defense of perjurier Bill Clinton. They all were abusing women, so why shouldn’t do it too.
 
I really think this topic is worth a real discussion and dialogue. How much of these is misperception? Previous cultural norms running headfirst into major generational shifts? Is expressing interest altogether out of bounds anymore? What the **** do I teach my son? Obviously not to be an assaultive *******, got it. But jesus christ, so many high powered guys brought down so quickly in the court of public opinion. I don't know how this doesn't alarm both men and women -- both the assaults and the contagion effect of allegations spreading like wildfire with presumptive substantiation.

Even if it is worth a discussion, I really don’t think it’s worth a discussion on CIS during the season.

Previous poster mentioned “media types” defending. He said this because he routinely works a right wing angle into his posts and wanted to associate “media” with liberal media. 3 examples are media types. They are not liberal.

This is a societal issue. There is no side; there is no aisle.
 
Harassment is a multi-partisan problem unfortunately. Both main parties, fringe right wing militias, marxist-socialist organizations, churches, environmental organizations etc..

We all suffer when important universal issues get turned into political footballs but it's inevitable in our hyper-partisan era.

I despise partisan politics let alone when it devolves into hyper-partisan politics. It's disgusting.

No question that I tend to the right but I have no problem with you calling out by name any offenders. My convictions come mostly from Faith so political views are not defenses to me. Heck, OReilly taught at my high school and I still never liked him much. I do not track people's post no less note their political leanings. Apparently that is important to you, so I have question: Did you get a cramp in your fingers while typing the names of the left leaning media types on you call out list?

My fingers don’t cramp. And you are a shameful liar.

This should NOT be a partisan issue. This is a misuse of power issue and every “side” is guilty. Yup, even, and especially, the so called men of faith.

Ailes is a blue blood Republican establishment type. I am not a Republican and have no use for his type, typified by the Bush family. Never watch ed Bill much even though we are both products outstanding Marist education. I dislike his style.

Not sure why those examples have anything to do with my point. The media gave Lying Bill a free ride with exception of a the brief time following the release of the dna testing on the dress. Then they flooded back to DC to punish him for lying to them. See they knew all about Bill's abuse of women before he ran for President but he promised them he would behave while in office. When they found he lied to them they were insulted and punished him by allowing the impeachment to take place, staining his record. But when it came time to remove the perjurer from office, they swung back to his defense and protected him.

With that went the Rule of Law so crucial to our system. He was placed above the law in the most obvious way. Now we see it out in the open. History will look at that Senate trial as the point that marked the end of our form of government. The people had our share of the blame. 401 Ks were doing fine so Bill got a pass from us too, including the women. Heck, especially the women. Oh, I didn't vote for Bush went Bill took him out of office. Never liked that family.
 
Thank you, OP! I KNEW there was another angle of ridicule to this story that I wasn't quite remembering. Chuckie Rose here was an apologist for ALL things Carolina. Kind of like if you made some of the ACC brass into relatively famous/perverted media members.
