OT Dolphins Win

I'm not a Fins fan. I like the NFL in general and have no favorite team. I just look for superior play. As others have posted, the #1 pick is not as important as having a boatload of picks. The Fins will have to replace a lot of the talent that they traded away. The #1 pick will not compensate for the lost talent. The more picks they have, the greater the chances of replacing the discarded players.

As for the Jets, I am glad that they are abysmal. Why would they hire Gase as HC? Was he so great as the Miami HC? I thought from the get-go that hiring Gase as the Jet HC was a dumb move. Yeah, he is supposed to be a QB whisperer. How well did he whisper to Tannehill? Did he achieve records better than 9-7, or 8-8 or 7-9? The only thing dumber was the Bears trading up to Mitch who was a one-year starter after sitting on the bench at UNC. The Jets and Bears are now reaping similar results. I like superior NFL play, including superior management that is so crucial for success. On that basis, it is easy to dislike the current Jets and Bears.

Call me crazy but they should use their top 3 pick on anyone but tua and draft burrow with one of Pitts or Houston’s pick

Googly Eyes to FSU after he's one-and-done in NY and gets out of rehab?

Should be great to watch the Cincy game.

$11 tickets I’ll be there. Side not I’ve been to couple hurricanes and dolphins game this year, the one ramp open to get to parking over the highway is ridiculous. How do you not finish that project before the season starts?

It’s tua and chase young or bust with our first pick. I think dolphins have the playmakers when healthy in every position but QB, OLine, and DE(that clowney trade would have been nice if he would sign longterm).

Listening to 560 and Dolphin fans having a meltdown over winning a football game, it's comical.

Miami, the city/region, has the most peculiar sports fans, and Dolfans take front and center.

Since the 1940s, only 5 teams have had a winless season, and that is what these morons benchmark themselves to.

For the first time in 3 decades the Dolphins have made good moves. That got every ounce of value they could out of their roster and will enter the off-season with double digit picks in the first 3 rounds (multiple 1st), a gigantic amount of cap space and a young coach from the top coaching tree in all of football.

Meanwhile, text machine warriors want to trade all of that for one pick. How many starting QBs in the NFL went 1st overall? How many have flamed out over the same time period? Even if you get the magical Hawaiian, what good is he if you don't have the resources to make moves around him? None.

You've stripped the team down as much as possible, you're starting Ryan Fitzpatrick and/or Josh Rosen. There's nothing else you can do. You're guaranteed to be a bottom 5 team, that's about as good as you're going to be. Sure, you best the Jets, and might beat the Bengals, and both of those will win a game or two also. That's just statistics.

Dolphins fans continue the meltdown though. Unreal.
