OT: Does anybody watch games 30 mins behind so you don't...

If you start a game 30 minutes behind, you catch up to the real broadcast sometime in the middle of the second quarter.

Pure genius. Why didn't you let us in on this little secret before.

And idiots brag about watching a football game "30 minutes behind" even though there are 60 minutes of commercials plus a 20 minute halftime.

You start 30 mins behind. Food/bathroom breaks should be good for another 20 mins. You catch up to live action in the 4th, so nobody spoils the result for you. At least that's how it works for me.

Who's the idiot now?

No way I can wait 30 minutes longer than I have to. Plus, I get hundreds of texts about the game.

OU is up 24-14 as I type this and just got the ball back in good field position :).

Sometimes but then you might get a spoiler.

I’ve tried that. I just don’t have the will power. I usually have to fast forward 90% of our offensive drives because I can’t stomach it.

But even that only saves me about 10 minutes.

The only game I watched every minute this year was ND. At some point during each game I would have to go find something else to do before I broke something.
