OT - Did Uncle Luke Turn Against The Hurricanes?

LOL...no...I just wanted to know what specifically (if anything) drove him away from Miami (like Ryan Collins not getting the job in 1995). When I read things like "FSU is cancelled by Uncle Luke" it brought to mind the question, "When did Uncle Luke decide to cancel the U?"
