I guess it was a mistake to quote the other individual aka his thought as well on the matter, as the reason to why I typed my thoughts on this social media story. Oops, I put his quote after I put down my own dialogue before I - copy & pasted his own thoughts on the topic created by another on this website.

Maybe if I just replied with a dumb as rocks keyboard warrior on social media response like; A **** emoji or a acronym to express compassion or anything. No though, a **** emoji or a fake emotion to express laughter would be bad to some or funny to others. I don't care to reason with someone else's mentality over a - "LOL or a sad face or a happy cartoon emoji."

Which is the equivalent of a tmz scum bag putting that video up on a social media entity. But the law enforcement created and modernized by the government updated for the new year 2020; But hey the law, and who ever controls twitter liked having the attention and the reactions about someone who needs more help. But only the two faced / or narcissist individuals / ignorant aka really insecure, rich douches would leave that on their twitter feed company resume. More attention for twitter. I heavily doubt the rich bosses of twitter are ever going to try to help out - Delonte West. But they'll clearly gain maybe a new twitter account.

Mental illness is for real. These people need to be in a health facilty, now they roam the streets. Is this compassion?

It is my understanding that A LOT of people have tried to help Delonte. The reality is this, nobody can FORCE another to get true help unless they themselves desire the same. Sure, you can Baker Act them for a couple days, but that achieves nothing if they're not willing to get on board for the long haul. I speak from family experience on this topic, as I'm sure many of you here do as well.

Yes sir, very sad indeed. It's crystal METHAMPHETAMINE. One can get the recepeit on line. Then go shopping at your local store and get the ingredients. However, when one triesto purchase it, usually they alert law enforcement. Now these days, they lace it with fentanyl. Scary.

That's understandable.. I tend to be more empathetic than sympathetic. He's still someone's son, brother, father, friend (same for women). Not any more sad than any other addict.. just different. The long fall from the top is hard to watch.

It is and there’s a lot of hardship and suffering in the world but the scraping to get by at the bottom just to put a roof over your head or food on the table for hard working, morally good people is much harder for me to watch.

Theres so much good people can do with their money, fame and influence but if they choose to p!ss it away on unnecessary excessive purchases (be it cars, houses, etc), strippers, drugs, lavish vacations etc it’s their free will and right.....just don’t come looking for sympathy if or when it vanishes. Guys who get screwed by shady investment guys, ponzu schemes and the likes, that’s different.

Not everyone responds the same too. Sadly the majority will never understand your sentiment, along with how apparently only a few on this website may.

Its the same as how; One person may become addicted and have the wherewithal to detox enough to resist any type of addiction one may feel. Which is what therapy aka group sessions that is supposed to help those who are labeled an addict use. Not everyone is able to - compartmentalize the same way though. Which is the same line of thinking of how one may relapse back into addiction; Apparently those who fall back to relying on a addictive substance are content with adapting a completely different view point on their own life and family. And / or whoever is a friend, brother, sister, father figure, a mom, a role model to some even.

Who knows though how the big business side of things operate other than making themselves richer and even richer. Some "addicts" even die as a result of so called "Illegal" street drugs. Even just everyday items could lead to someone dying young or old. Tobacco, alcohol, cocaine, heroine, methamphetamine. Even stuff like medicines that is supposed to keep someone healthy has what can lead to tragic side effects; Every new medication has just as many side effects as the first form that was supposed to help while under a companies patent. ****; Even the pills for those with the inability to have intercourse has warning labels that may lead to a trip to the emergency room.

Yeah 100% NBPA needs to take care of stuff like this. League didn't have the same infrastructural supports when West was playing. This is a bad look for a league with already declining ratings and interest.

Maybe crack, definitely not just coke. But I think it's likely meth. That sh-t could turn the Dalai Lama into a tweaker. Though I read that dude has been struggling with mental illness way before he was an addict. So unlike with many meth heads, the mental health seems to be the egg here rather than the other way around.

I've definitely noticed the same just in like the last decade alone and especially in Lauderdale. These aren't what many people write off as drug addicts just trying to score their next fix but legitimately mentally ill people that prefer to be living on the streets in isolation or just because they can't function within shelters.

It's an extremely tough issue to deal with because politics and civil rights come into play when you try to combat it on a governmental level. I believe in the 70s and early 80s we moved away from institutions and asylums due to some very public horror stories about conditions within them and probably due to a desire to cut spending but we obviously didn't have an effective alternative.

The boy had mental issues while playing..he was bugging in interviews and team promos..Everyone thought it was a joke..then he had that thing with Bron, the guns, the weed..cat didn’t take care of his chicken..as a human I feel for him..but it’s millions of Americans like this who don’t get attention cause they did not play in a league..hopefully he gets help and ultimately I hope this sheds light on the other no names..

IIRC, he was diagnosed as bipolar back in his playing days.

Seems there's a big connection between bi-polar and drugs. My brother was bi-polar and got hooked on heroin. Committed suicide after trying rehab a bunch of times.

Hope West gets the help he desperately needs before it's too late....

yeah, lets stop and help someone who made MILLIONS and bring him back to life because he was a basketball player. I feel bad for him but you need to want to help yourself before anyone willing to help has an impact.

But with all the history that is recorded in text books and just word of mouth aka common sense; Who ever is able to breathe still with a pulse. Mankind is still here with mother nature, at least I'm not a animal that has gone extinct or is currenty on the brink of being extinct. Glory hounds for literally just - fifteen minutes of fame.

Not everyone is the same, which is why no one has the same genetic makeup [DNA]. Example = Identical twins may be two different genders, they could also be the same gender but still will never have the same genetic "Dna."

But anyone with respect or just literally compassion for a stranger that needs any type of support. But in the united states of america that built its "1st world economy nick name" because of monopoly style big businesses aka capitalism. Given the fact how many of these rich douches are classified as u/s/a official citizens. You would figure they would kick back more than a few million if their wealth at a time besides a televised fundraiser hosted by movie and tv celebrities.. Who knows, I don't know these individuals personally. So maybe they actually donate a majority of their wealth to help those stuck in poverty.

But in the same rhetoric, too many people give in to peer pressure to try to appear a certain way; Especially when there is a cell phone, a media camera crew etc etc in front of their faces. But there's fake news / real news. But there are all these different gossip businesses, from tmz or paparazzi etc etc once more. **** there is even a tv show that has new episodes weekly, and it literally just those tmz detriments who bought their very own tv slot; Too many people are just sad pieces of human beings truthfully aka; There was a televised news article how. There was a website based around if a celebrity that is well known to have millions if dollars in wealth based on their hard work.. The career could be in sports, television, doctors, etc. If it was well known the man or woman was easily a multi millionaire.

There's literally a computer website that notified the "Gold diggers both men and women alike" where the celebrity would go at. Aka, a club that usually has a v.i.p. reward.
