OT cam to the patriots

I’ll bet he goes before fields
He has the hype going into the season to maybe do that. I think Fields is the safer pick and goes ahead of him. Will be fascinating because we just had a solid QB class this year and next year’s could be better.

Josh McDaniels is gonna orchestrate a Power Run Pistol offense with Cam.

Considering the fact that offseason workouts, mini-camp & OTA's etc have all basically been cancelled, it makes sense to go to a Run heavy style offense with a QB who can pickup yards with his legs, because there's just not gonna be enough time in the offseason to gel & create continuity with a new QB trying to operate an intricate Pass heavy offense.

The teams who have the most athletically gifted playmakers will be the ones who thrive under these C-19 circumstances, because OL's will be mostly garbage this season, so you're gonna need a bunch of dudes who can play easy read backyard Football. The QB's/Offenses who have to have perfect timing & rhythm & that are overly complicated in their verbiage/play designs will struggle with not enough months to get in a cohesive groove together.

People are gonna doubt Cam because they don't like him personally, but regardless of that one thing that can't be doubted is Belichick & McDaniels ability to put together a game plan to win on any given Sunday/Monday/Thursday, they've won games with Matt Cassel, Jimmy Garoppolo & Jacoby Brissett, you'd be a fool to think they can't win with Cam.

And I'm a Ravens fan btw, I can't stand the Pats, but this was a good pickup for them.
Can't stand them L.. I was up in the NE the year Lee Evans dropped that touchdown pass. I can't stand them.. ****

If this works, it has to be run first, but then a passing game that focuses on N'Keal Harry. He's the only guy they've got with the skillset Cam needs because Cam really isn't that accurate and he doesn't have a lot of touch. But Kelvin Benjamin worked and so can Harry.

He was clearly hurt, but in the couple games he played last year he was literally unplayable. That’s not an exaggeration. He was not an NFL QB, nevermind a starter or anywhere near difference maker. He was completely cooked.

And I’m not worried about his foot. It was his shoulder. He was completely cooked before they shut him down. And remember, this was AFTER a ton of speculation about his arm and everyone said it was 100%. It wasn’t anywhere close.

So this is all moot if he’s not truly healthy. The guy who played last year will not win a game in the NFL, no matter how brilliant Belichick and McDaniels are.

Don’t forget, Cam Newton wife’d up a stripper and had 3 children with her. That shows a lack of common sense, an IQ of about 73 at best, and poor judgement.

How can you allow a “ho into a housewife maker”, to lead your team and be the face of the franchise??? Can’t happen!! He ought to be blackballed from the league, in my expert opinion.

That's a vast over exaggeration, Cam is 31 years old, not 41.

If Ryan Tanehill, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Derek Carr & Case Keenum can all win games in the NFL, so can Cam, **** the Steelers won games last year with Devlin Hodges for God sake lol

Yall are acting like Cam is paralyzed & can never play another down again, you guys are supremely overreacting based on an injury as if no player has ever came back from an injury before.

There are far far worse QB's in the league than Cam, the over top reactions to him & his career are always hilarious to me. Dudes like Mark Sanchez & Rex Grossman have been starters on teams that went to playoffs but somehow Cam is finished at 31 lmao.

He left her for an IG model.

I don't think he's exaggerating. I watched the games he played in last year and he was missing badly to wide open receivers. He was clearly injured but he was never the most accurate guy. He has to make sure that shoulder is 100% and not rush the play the way he did last year.

He couldn't throw accurately to his right after the shoulder surgery.

The only QB's who are 41 in actual life years is Tom Brady & Drew Brees.

Both of whom missed an entire season during their career with serious injuries & then kept on playing.

Yall are seriously overreacting & not looking at it objectively, too much personal bias going on with yall.

I've been forced to watch him play for nearly a decade. It's not personal bias - it's objective analysis.

Physically he's half the player he was at 22. He's always relied on his natural physical gifts over mechanics / fundamentals / being a film junkie. He ain't that guy anymore. I'm not saying the Patriots won't find a way to win with him, but they're paying him peanuts for a reason.
