I would say that around 50% of the fights I've seen recently and in the past that didn't end in a knockout ended with the judges stealing it from the rightful winner. The scorecards from the TV analysts/crews disagreed from the judges, sometimes not even close to accurate.
Boxing has turned into a disgraceful sport... I feel for those poor boxers, while a seedy/crooked element judges the matches.

My greatest boxing story was when I argued with my closest friend at summer camp that my father could beat up his father.

When my parents visited a few weeks later, I told them about it and they asked me my friend's name.

"Jack LaMotta," I replied.

My father turned ashen white, my mother told me years later.

True story.

Might have told it here before...but I love it so much, I'll repeat it.

I grew up loving Boxing so much. I boxed Golden gloves and even in the military...I was pretty successful in the Army that they were going to send me to Ft. Huachuca AZ where the Army team trains....but **** they wanted me to cut weight too **** much and i said F it.
Too much corruption and shadiness in boxing and that sucks.

Grunt I agree man, I have a bunch o Mexicans that work for me, all illegal, they love them some boxing, and I always jack with em about it. A few years back some huge fight was coming on, ppv, man they were talking for weeks about it. I decided to go to their house and watch fight, one Mexican and one *****, sorry African American. These dudes were like 120 freaking pounds lol went the distance, at the end they said well this cat hit that one 278 times he wins. I had to laugh, you couldn't tell either had been in a fight, I declared to the room I would smoke either one, of coarse I weigh 250. I said man what a croc, they should just fight till one quits or goes down, they did that years ago, its the ONLY way to settle it fair. **** I grew up watching Muhammid Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Tyson, etc they don't need to hit you 300 times, just one will do. BTW Muhammad Ali is the greatest of all time, would knock Tyson TF out gauranteed and anybody else when in his prime. Angelo said there was nothing like him ever, just a few years ago, big, strong, take your best shot, and fast as Sugar Ray, but most of all he was smart and Used it to his advantage. I miss those old heavyweight days man these young punks just don't know

If the boxing federation would ever want to clean the sport up from corruption they would change their judging system... for starters I would force them to post scoring round by round on a monitor. As it is now it's just a slight step above Pro Wrestling and that ain't saying much.

OP I love boxing and it's alive and well in DC Baltimore and Philly... but hey judges gonna be what they are going to be.

True, but why not take all the politics out of it completely. Fight till one throws in the towel or gets knocked out. I gaurantee the fighters would be down for that. The heavys hardy ever go 15 anyway, it would really only affect these tiny dudes who land 376 punches that do nothing lol, that still cracks me up man. You remember what ole Chuck Whepner looked like after Ali got done with him.

CIS, take any fighter in his prime, who you got ? Ali in his prime could whup any fighter to lace em up, total package, Randy Moss with brains. Tyson ? Nah, to dumb, all you had to do was outsmart him, like Holyfield did, and Ali was much better than EH

Boxing has been corrupt for a long time, but it’s almost unwatchable now, due to corrupt promoters and judges.

Even UFC is a joke. Rather watch WWE, at least you know what you're paying for

Vincent Kennedy McMahon Jr. is the smartest fighting promoter to live.
To take a predetermined sport and promote these "fights" as one of the greatest you will ever see.... and still make billions a year......

The only way to fix this is if they fight till the other quits or something.............this is what happens when sports have judges
