This guy looks/sounds pretty happy and healthy. You think he'll ever come back?

I tend to trust his word/rationale more than Urbie Liar's but it would be hilarious for Stoops to come back and grab a job that Liar wants in a year or two.

Mark Richt was the offensive coordinator his Oklahoma team beat. Bowden was about ready to kill Richt that game. I think he even relieved him of the playcalling in the second half.

Anyway, Stoops will return for the right job and price.

I would take him in Miami yesterday. Enough of the nice guys the next guy Miami hires should be a prick!

Big Game Bob is living his best life right now.

Retirement Beard. Put on weight. Got that perfect Just-For-Men blend in. He's got the post hangover shakes. Living his best life.

The reason Stoops is happy and healthy is, specifically, because he's OUT of football. He no longer has the drive he once had and was basically just going through the motions at the time he quit. He doesn't have the belly fire any longer. Hiring him (assuming he would even want anything to do with Miami) would work out no better than hiring Richt did. Why do we keep clinging to fossils in the hope that somehow they will reanimate?

Is that the game we got robbed from playing? The f'n irony. The criminoles scored 3 points that game. Pricht's legacy is full of incompetence.

Probably knocking the bottom out of each and every four star corn fed Okie coed in sight. The same ones he ignored when he was winning championships.

yes, Bowden sweet talked the BCS group..... we would have crushed the Oakies and he would not be know as big game bob

Oh man, he’s the only guy I would prioritize over Campbell. Unfortunately though he’ll probably ask for about 6 mil which our admin will never agree to.

Not sure it is true, but when Auburn went shopping behind Malzahn's back and flew out to meet with Stoops, allegedly he said, sure I'm interested....for $15 million a year...lol. Auburn couldn't get out of there fast enough.

We all know what that would have meant though, Saban would receive $16.1 million the next year.

No decent coach coming to this cesspool. No Stoops or Meyers. Coaching at Miami can ruin their legacy,

I wasn't connecting either of them to any potential future job opening here in any capacity (hence the "OT"). Was just wondering about Stoops in general.

Actually they scored 2 points. On an intentional safety on a punt by Okie towards the end of the game. Canes would have beat the Sooners by 40.

I went to the Sugar Bowl that year. Time of my life. Would trade it in a second for that Natty game.
