OT: Article on Clemson Drug Testing

All the big time programs use. This reminds me of the hubub when Lance Armstrong was busted. Its selective outrage. ALL TOP CYCLISTS use PED. Armstrong is still the GOAT. He is the GOAT of all the PED users.

As many people said on the reddit post for this, no school is going to voluntarily test all of their athletes, nor should they.
Imagine this whole article with it replaced as Miami and try to imagine people's responses on this board to that article lol.
Hey if you aint a home, you aint a fan!

No. It doesn’t. Not when Clemp’s $on fans think their **** is roses and still call us “criminals” and mean it. Fact of the matter is, we’ve been playing by the rules, at least more than most, for 20 years and the world looks at Tigger as a feel good story of a bunch of good guys, and Baga as that program that buys championships but whatever they are amazing. It’s bull**** and our fans shouldn’t be patronizing that “everyone does it” narrative when 1) it’s not the truth, and; 2) no one, not no one ever gives us that benefit of the doubt.

After the **** we got put through over a hibachi steak at Benihana, you want to paper this over and say “ah, no biggie”...? Fvck that, I say. Where’s Yahoo and USA Today?? Where’s the got **** outrage?
This x 1000....Its like some of these Simps have battered woman syndrome. They got used to people crapping on The U and just think its ok...as they try to find ways to survive their situation by telling themself that everyone is doing it. Fvck that.... why isn't there an expose in Sports Illustrated or even The Athletic? GTFOH

I don’t know, we were fairly small. Maybe it was just those commercially manufactured cornhuskers made our guys look little. Do you have real evidence or are you just assuming it?

Real evidence whether they count the practice squad players into the team total? That's what I was answering yes to in that post.

Exactly. If it was us, there would be outrage. When it’s not us, and no one cares, we should be outraged.

Pretty simple math.

Seemed pretty obvious when none of his teammates defended him or seemed surprised at all. Also when Etienne went from purely being a speed guy to dragging guys and pushing the pile against Bama. Doesn't seem natural in a year's time

And most didn't know the danger of long (and short term) effects.
I am curious if in the moment very many athletes with professional/competitive aspirations would do anything differently with the knowledge. After the fact, years down the road, maybe. But I would expect that the removal of the legality barrier would result in widespread use even if there was extensive knowledge.

Ahhh...Sports Illustrated actually had the right call on the Canes vs Nebraska 1984 game.

Scarface came out just in time to capture the Miami feeling of those days.

I'm not for anyone testing kids at the end of their college days, right before they get drafted, that's BS to me. You want to test them mid season and keep them out of one game but don't ***** with these kids pay check. I don't like big brother telling me what to do with my life. These kids have put in hard work for many, many years then you're going to ***** with them with two games left, I don't agree with that.
