OT: Article on Clemson Drug Testing

The doctor that supplied A rod with juice was still supplying kids in Pike as late as the early 2010s. The guys office was right on Ponce next to that traffic circle by the Merrick Park mall/apartments.

Yeah sorry it was Bosch not Balco....lol. When the MLB suppliers all started getting popped is still correlating when we stopped being beastly on a regular basis. We need that back

Yup that was him. A few of the kids I lifted with at the WC were in Pike and they were telling me one day about how they would cop their juice from the same guy that supplied Arod. I obviously thought they were BSing. Then one day we were going to a pre game at Merrick and they pointed out his office. I still didn't buy it. A year or 2 later Bosch gets busted and I was like Holy schit they werent BSing. lmao.

Want to see some crazy ish: Watch the movie Icarus. Everyone is looking for an edge and if you want to keep up or get paid, you will too. That 2005 freak show, of MLB dudes, testifying before congress was laughable. Nobody thought those guys were clean - we shouldn't expect todays athletes would be.

In all honesty, Dabo is a real nice dude. Overall he's cool...but when it comes to football he and Venables are two of the absolute most competitive people you'll meet. After a few early seasons where they fell short off ACC ship, Dabo changed things up.
People all over the upstate can attest to the cash flow surrounding Clemson but of course most are fans so it's hush hush. **** many are contributing to it.
I once worked with Marcus Lattimore step-dad and he told me how much Clemson offered for his son to go there..and how often Byrnes players were getting paid to go play at Clemson. He said, man I wanted Marcus to get cash so bad, but he chose SEC because he knew he would get more exposure and more credibility coming out of the SEC at that time, and Lattimore had NFL written all over him from the time he was a junior in high school.

Nevertheless, yes, Clemson is throwing cash around, and after the last loss to Bama I'm positive that Dabo knew what was going on with the PEDs and he wasn't going to stop it.
Anyone that encourages young people to inject their bodies with substances that will 100% for sure shorten their lives dramatically isn't a "cool" guy. Same comment if they turn a blind eye to it. The toll steroids & other banned substances take on the human body over time is really serious & leads to major, life-shortening health issues over time. In addition to that, this "nice" guy is likely endorsing (or turning a blind eye to):

(i) major pay-for-play schemes (which some programs unequivocally do more than others and is unequivocally a major violation of both NCAA rules and the law, the latter depending on how things are structured);
(ii) the use of young college co-eds to "host" recruits; and
(iii) the sexual abuse of girls at football parties (I've heard some really horrific stories of sexual assault occurring at other football factories -- see the alleged Baylor rape story where it was apparently rampant over an extended period of time).

A guy as competitive as DS, will likely stop at nothing to achieve his objectives. Sorry, but CFB is one of the dirtiest sports out there and anyone thinking DS is a "cool" guy or "real nice" is simply naive.

100%. People want a "win at all costs" coach when in reality, that type of coach in college is nothing more than a self-serving POS. From the recruiting lies to the hush payments to the PEDs to offering classes the kids can pass without even showing up, the Sabans, Dabos & Meyers of the CFB world don't give a shìt about their players. "Just win baby".

So someone went to the SEC *instead* of getting paid? We'll just add that to the list of things I didn't expect to hear today

Call it what you want. I'm not judging the guy.
You find me a successful person alive that doesn't have skeletons...Ill call you a liar.

I don't think Dabo is a football God...I don't even like the dude, truthfully. I've compete against him on the baseball field for those that didn't know, yes he coached youth travel baseball also. He absolutely doesn't like to lose.
At the end of the day we're talking about adults, the those athletes have a choice to make, and there's really not a competitive program out there that isn't looking for the competitive edge.

Yeah they even had previous alumni paying players throughout the year. That whole program is dirty

Ask me sometime about 185 lb WR at Florida Christian turned 290 lb FSU DT (within 2 years) and then 1st round NFL draft pick Andre Wadsworth..

Lawrences response is almost as good as the best one I heard as a LEO....these aren't my pants I'm borrowing them.

I mean that's a whole 'nother argument lol. We know the bias is real in some places. I'm just trying to say that I don't understand why people are mad about this. Almost EVERY school does this, and for any fan of a P5 team to assume that at least some players on their team aren't is naive. The whole "throwing stones in a glass house" saying applies here...

No. It doesn’t. Not when Clemp’s $on fans think their **** is roses and still call us “criminals” and mean it. Fact of the matter is, we’ve been playing by the rules, at least more than most, for 20 years and the world looks at Tigger as a feel good story of a bunch of good guys, and Baga as that program that buys championships but whatever they are amazing. It’s bull**** and our fans shouldn’t be patronizing that “everyone does it” narrative when 1) it’s not the truth, and; 2) no one, not no one ever gives us that benefit of the doubt.

After the **** we got put through over a hibachi steak at Benihana, you want to paper this over and say “ah, no biggie”...? Fvck that, I say. Where’s Yahoo and USA Today?? Where’s the got **** outrage?

This is spot on. There should be outrage. There should be serious investigations.

So to follow up on the last couple of posts....don't hold your breath waiting for NCAA justice or fair treatment.

Dewan Hernandez was kicked to the curb today by the NCAA, Justin Field will be granted his waiver, but Tate will not.

And the beat goes on...

My sauces have said that Trevor Lawrence is a crack baby that explains his freaky looks😳

better football thru higher chemistry is a fact of life. last year pre season magazines had a comment on UGA
that they looked totally different physically than in Richt era. take a good look at top SEC schools
LSU,Bama,UGA.....Tn. will look like that this year as well.
remember we "used to look like that & have that explosiveness under Moffet when under Butch was here.
once he left we were getting pushed around by anybody wit a pulse.
Look at Whisky" that size and power deoe not come from diet and a weight program.
if you want to win at top levels this is part of formula
