A colleague gave me about 12 huge bottles (Pint and 6 oz) of the stuff. Alc: 11%....which is awesome.

Is this beer any Good?

Thanks in advance.

No its not and you actually are required by law to dispose of it in a sanctioned manner. Lucky for you I know a guy and if ship me the beer I can have it disposed of properly and in accordance with local laws, rules and customs.

Im from PA. It's a good winter beer. It's strong and has a cherry and honey taste to it.

I'm from Florida, but live in PA.

Mad Elf is the beer of choice in the winter here. PA is a great beer state...and it's so difficult to buy beer due to the restrictions on who can sell it. HAHA>

Yeah, this is definitely off topic. But I will say that it's amazing the number of microbrew beers you can find in the States nowadays.

Good quality beer - unlike a couple or a few decades ago....

Of course, a few of the good breweries were bought last year (Ballast from San Diego, Firehouse? from central California, etc.) by some of the big name multinational brewers, but that's how it goes....

It's still a good business to try for anyone out there who's a serious beer fanatic...and possible to start-up with a full-time job, too....

Speaking of PA beers, this is the best higher ABV beer I've had. 9.5% but still drinks like a beer. A good beer to hit between hard liquor at a tailgate if you truly want to "deserve victory".

Golden Monkey is a great beer.

Speaking of beers and PA...I'll be in Pittsburgh next week. Any good CANES bars or hangouts in Pittsburgh?
