I know what you mean, nostalgia. Its a good movie as a stand alone film imo. I actually enjoyed it, but if you ever get the chance watch the old school 1930 one. It honestly blows the remake out of the water and is a true classic(its preserved in the library of congress).
A good WW1 documentary to watch is They Shall Not Grow Old.

Painstaking detail to set the scenes was lost because the uniforms are too clean to give it a more authentic air of reality. But I might be a little adhd about such details.

Uncut Gems was phenomenal! So darkly funny and you really feel the anxiety building throughout the movie... Also, Kevin Garnett was surprisingly excellent in a big role.
The girl’s *** in that movie is lovely

Trash ******* film bro. I remember sneaking into the theater to see it with a couple of my boys. We were like 7 years old. Didn't get creeped out or jump once and were just bored out of our mind. Terrible film. Until today, I didn't even realize it was a hit lmao.

Saw it when I was 10 I started laughing when they showed one of the guys cut off fingers, looked like carrots

dumbest movie

A good WW1 documentary to watch is They Shall Not Grow Old.

The name of the movie comes from part of a poem concerning all who died in the war.

--

They shall not grow old; as we are left to grow old.

Age, shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the down of the sun...and in the morning; we will remember them.

--

That poem is still recited on Rememberance Day. And, to be perfectly honest, I had to look up who wrote it just now. It was Laurence Binyon. But the words always stuck with me because of the humanity attached with them. It's not a poem about one sides loss, or the others.

It's about everybodies loss. And, perhaps, the sacrificies and horrors committed in war, maybe the fallen have the luxury of their suffering ending compared to the men who survived and have to live with it for the rest of time.

Does that make sense?

I saw part = two, of

A League Of Their Own [ the oscar winner extraordinaire ]

Its basically about keyboard warriors in the year twenty-twenty; The premise is about children and adults that stalk student / athletes. And if they don't stalk them they just slander the actual player on the actual sports team; Especially if all they did was ride the bench on the junior varsity team as a senior. I heard from a source of a fan boy of "blake james" that went to high school with him that the all time hurricane team of the early 1800's thought of the story telling of never never land.

To be honest; Science fiction movies are purely what if scenarios. But the morality of the story of the movies are better to watch anytime than movies like - saving private ryan. Like "Saving Private Ryan" isn't really decent acting.. Its easy for tom hanks to portray a real life tragedy that I doubt any of his direct family members ever served in the actual war. But he became glorified as some awesome actor movie star. To me those type of movies are the ones that should be in the movie theaters for a month maybe, but straight to dvd.. Movies like - independence day is purely a fictional scenario but; The summary of that particular movie is. I guess it would take a invasion from outer space threatening the entire planet to unite every nation that has the military mean / and guns to help save humanity that lives on the planet; I don't know - I would much rather watch those type of movies.

Its like actual real war veterans; Where if they hear any type of sound it may remind them of a explosion or gun fire and make them lose it because of anxiety. One teacher in the high school I went to; He had a incident like this one of the students said. I don't know, I never had one of his classes - but I don't think they'd lie about him having a nervous attack because of trauma because of war. All though the kids acted like it was a cool social media story before social media stuff like twitter, etc was a actual computer program.
