OT: #12UGA @ #23Ole Miss

Lol at Smart hiring Mel Tucker as his def coordinator. I would argue that he's worst than No D. Mel Tucker ruined a NFL team who prides itself on defense (my Chicago Bears). I look for UGA to go right back into mediocrity soon.

They're mostly saying on the UGA boards that it's Rick's fault, that GA just doesn't have the talent (especially on the lines), that it's going to take a couple of years, that it's not the coaching today, it's the players.
 
LOVE how the narrative is now how GREAT Ole **** is, how Eason WILL BE great along with several glowing mentions of "SEC Football". No acknowledgement that UGA was horribly overranked or that one can't deem Ole **** anything but a 2-2 team in the third best conference in the country. It's cool though. eSECpn gonna always slurp away every Saturday. Brace yourself for the Ole **** rocketship back up the polls now.

The announcers are feeding that narrative too. I'm a little surprised they are so dismissive of the great recruiting classes they have had.

Richt was one of the best recruiters in the country during his time at Georgia.

Smart seems to have made some questionable hires on the offensive staff and the defense doesn't fit the personnel.

Haha. EVERY Bears fan I've ever spoken to says the EXACT same thing.

I wouldn't say Ole Miss's defense is terrible. They've just played the best schedule in the country so far and have given up a lot of non-offensive TDs

I meant rush defense I deleted rush when I fixed my sentence. They've played a tough schedule but no excuse to give up more than 200 yards a game rushing against balanced offenses.

They were like 63 of 65 in FBS in rush defense. If Chubb is as good as they say, he should have exploited that
