OSU won’t be playing in the championship game.

Assuming OSU doesn't play another game, would they still get in the CFP if they are ranked in the Top 4 at the end of the season? In other words, can they get into the CFP with only 5 games and no conference championship?

Hope the ADs stand firm and don't allow a rule change. They wouldn't let Nebraska do it earlier this year so how do they treat it when its OSU?

If they do if after not allowing Nebraska then it just proves the rules are different from others and this will make the B10 look real bad.

If Im Nebraska this is the basis for how you leave the B10

It won't surprise me if they make the playoffs even if they don't play in the conference championship.
I don't think the CFP committee would do it. I mean you've got Barry Alvarez who was already wanting to change the rules for OSU but I don't see anyone else giving in on that.

Tom Osborne will be ****ed the way the Big 10 handled Nebraska and then the other conference ADs that handled the season appropriately should be going against the Big 10 in general for the way the handled the COVID situation - trying to cancel far too soon and tried to cave everyone else to following them.

SO if this happens, then next year we win 6 and opt-out of all other games and Championship and we better get in. LOL

CFP worth millions. B1G will be just fine and won't care how "bad" they look.

Merged with the other thread on the same subject.

We'll see... you gotta be consistent across the board. You told Nebraska no OOC so the same should apply to OSU.

Now we'll see if they do something for them inter conference to get them an extra game
