Definitely sounds like we are trending down for those 2 at oakleaf. I’m thinking Holmes will run in the 4.4 range today and he said Miami staff has made it clear that we like and recruiting him as a running back

Let’s put things into perspective. We just had a terrible season. The Gators has a Good but not great season. Miami just needs to play up to their talent level and win the games that we should win and they will be playing in the ACCCG against Clemson. UF is going to drop several games next year. If we set the tone against them and beat them on the First game it could wind up being a very rough season for the Gators. You will see momentum change real quick.

Holmes could play RB...The facts he may not be a 20 carry a game back and he can excel at other positions doesn't mean he can't play RB.

Duke himself recently said if he could go back he would play db long term too. He was a better db than a rb if you saw him play live

Holmes is a very talented athlete and you just dont turn that type of speed away. And in my eyes hes a take over parrish i know alot of guys dont share my views from the previous threads but im picking holmes 10 out of 10 times.

I've never felt it was a one over the other type situation, you take both if you can get both.

Holmes is far more explosive than Parrish & has more versatility being able to play RB, WR & DB.

You recruit Holmes at whatever he wants, just get him to sign & figure out the rest later.

Exactly we can put Holmes at RB,KR,PR,wildcat packages etc....you get that type of speed on your team

Im definitely not opposed to taking both of them but from a numbers stand point i dont know if we will be able to. It would be great if we could though.

I think we should just go ahead and let this kid be a RB. Just won RB MVP. Seriously, what harm would it be if we let Holmes be RB2 of the class leaving our Parrish and Murphy?
