Orlando opening

Landing Holmes to pair with Chaney would give us an A+ haul at RB. Would be thrilled to land those two and call it a day.

Pursuing a third RB this year would be unnecessary, IMO. Hold onto Franklin and shoot our shot with Amari Daniels in '21. Pursue 2 this year and 2 next year, not 3 this year and just 1 in '21.

Holmes isn’t a RB, though. Harvin type on offense and CB as his best long term fit.

Kids from Jax who preferred Richt? What the **** are you talking even about? That comment doesn’t even seem to fit in the conversation lol.

Almost every time we send one of our Jacksonville kids down there all he does is go down and become one of the best players on the team at his respective position. Y’all need to stop sleeping on my city man. We’re not the divas up here my man, that’s a sofla thing.
You may struggle with reading comprehension.

They are kids from Jax. They seemed to prefer Richt, reportedly less up on Um since his departure. Jax is not our territory. Never has been. Manny’s here, he’s gone do his thing. If they want in, fine. If not, fine. Not even concerned one bit.

What you need to consider is that the type of kid we are going to target under Manny is going to change from under Richt. If that costs us a couple guys from Jax, oh well.

I agree.

Imo based just on film, Franklin is the best RB in South Florida regardless of class

Chantz and Jalen seem to be favoring Florida and Georgia right now. Chantz also said he ran a 4.56 today.

Miami leading for Caziah Holmes
I know he probably will play DE at the next level, but running a 4.56 at 220lb sounds like a recipe for a killer Linebacker, I wonder what is shuttle is. If his shuttle is 4.3 or lower then I think it would be a waste for him to have his hands on the ground.

Caziah Holmes is reportedly embarrassing LB’s and ran a 4.4 40. He’s not a natural RB on film but you take him as an RB2 because he’s an extreme talented change of pace back.

Reminds me of Kenyon Drake honestly.

Exactly. Holmes is adamant about wanting to play RB. Our coaches are apparently recruiting him as a RB. It's that simple. Learning from the mistakes made during the recruitment of Ahmmon's brother.

He's an offensive weapon who would be a massive get as the RB2 in this class, regardless of whether we can technically move him around at times with his receiving ability and explosiveness. No need for a third RB if we land Chaney & Holmes.

I can already see where this board is going to start going with the namecalling and with regards to Chantz Williams' recruitment. I hope I'm wrong, though

Looking at the DE and OL offers it very much seems like we already have found other targets

It's going to get really weird.

Not in our defense...and kid looks like he has been playing dl his entire career.

Williams looks alot like Garvin did in high school. But he is faster.

I know he will be a stud at DE, It just feels weird when your DE is faster and quicker than your LB.
