Orgeron is a DL coach who has no business even being a DC.

As a HC, he’s garbage when he’s anything more than a figurehead who’s pretending to run the team.

All I know is the guy is a great motivator, and typically has his teams ready to play. And they play hard & physical. Sure he’s not cutting edge but I will always say it’s ok to not be the smartest guy in the room as long as you surround yourself with better folks.

That offense had some slick plays.
Funny because I thought they were good when they hired the former PITT offensive coordinator (who also had some cool plays at Pitt) but he didn’t pan out at LSU. Canned after a year I think.

Yeah their defense is good but that coverage call on Bamas last 85 yard TD was really bad. Their fortunate that didn’t come back to bite them.

Coach O is a great coach and a great guy. Yes he had a drinking problem as did Dennis. He got fired because he got arrested in a bar fight in Louisiana while he was the DL coach here.

I’d take Coach O in a second as long as you could also guarantee me we’d have those recruiting classes and also be able to buy him the best coached in all of college football to surround him with.

Otherwise, what’s the point?

LSU is choc full of talent and has been from some time...they finally adapted and went to more of a spread look...something i thought we did this offseason...boy was i wrong
