Oregon Pounds the Buffs

I feel like teams that get too high, also are likely to go real low. Which is not typically what you want in football. You want a "next play" mentality. I'll be interested to see how they fare the rest of the way.

Irvin said it was a long weekend…. starting with Deion and ending with the Cowfags. To **** with Miami looking good.

Irvin, Keyshawn and Sherman out there with the Deion talking points this morning. Making sure Deion is well protected in media circles. Sherman knows football and repeats the Deion line that they are 6-8 players away. He knows that crap is not true.

Their entire offensive line are 3 star players, including the transfers. Outside of cornerback, their highest collection of talent is at wide receiver where they signed multiple blue chip players - and have seven true freshmen. It's the O-line that needs to be vastly revamped. If Deion wants to compete on offense, he's going to have to sign a 5 star blue chip freshman and bring in at least two high quality offensive linemen.

If Shedeur goes down, they only have two 3 star true freshmen at backup.

Agree with this and it's annoying listening to the media say "You better get Deion now because this is the worst they will be". Are you sure? Will deion be able to recruit the offensive and defensive lines? Will he get another qb after Shedeur? There are question marks going forward with Deion/Colorado but his buddies in the media seem to think Colorado is destine for greatness.

Here's the offensive line currently:

In theory, these guys provide the foundation and then Deion begins adding higher level talent in all three spots. The problem is that he needs top level veteran players to come in during the next offseason, if the objective is to become elite before Shedeur graduates. That means charm and a lot of NIL, enough that he can outbid other schools.

I would lol so much if after neon says he’s keeping a receipt on Lanning, Lanning tells his team “play my theme music!”
