Oregon Pounds the Buffs

Sanders got the lightning in a bottle last year and snagged some recruits late when he got the gig. This year he’s recruiting against the big boys all year round and this is a money game now

This make ZERO SENSE
Let’s not all of a sudden pretend prime took in a bunch of 5star/all Americans..they scouted and mostly took guys with talent whom for whatever reason weren’t overly productive at their previous stops. player acquisition is the biggest part of coaching in cfb..you can know all the Xs n Os but you need the players.. Deion put together a very good staff..it’s rich tho this type of sentiment is coming from a Miami board lol..if expected CU to beat Oregon or even have that game be a nip n tuck game the jokes on you.

When did TrumpyCane say he didn't put together a good staff?

Fact is its an entirely different team and not the one that won only 1 game last year, thats the point

Colorado was projected to win 2/3 games this year..only ppl who pay attention to story lines, haters & weirdos are surprised about that result yesterday tbh..I hope prime keep’s ruffling feathers in the good ole boys club

**** I know you really not typing in the first person 😂..I think trumpy needs a break from cis

That program won 1 game lol..if Mario goes from 5 to 10 wins are you really going to say it was a great coaching job by him? Probably not right? So if cu goes from 1 win to 4 or 5..or god forbid 6
(CFB media would become insufferable)..how would you not consider that a great improvement

Friends thought I was nuts taking Oregon -20.5
That's three TDs!

Easy money...
I rarely gamble anymore, but got a buddy who bought the whole “Prime time” none sense, was telling me couldn’t wait for the game and was going to lay money on Colorado.
He knows nothing about college football, I told him either put it on Oregon or don’t bet. The game wouldn’t even be close. Not sure he listened though. Lol.

Espn pundits are retarded, they are all asking what each other what they learned today….as if they didnt know Oregon would kick their ***.

Memo to espn
USD will hang fifty next week as well

Col will prob win 7-8 games

+ USC will physically wear them out (L)
+ ASU will make it a game at home the following week, but lose. (W)
+ Stanford can press the pocket and run the ball. This is one I think CU gives up (L)
+ UCLA and Oregon State will pound them (L, L)
+ Arizona is a W for them
+ Back on the Tubesteak express for WSU and Utah (L, L)

That’s 5-7. A big improvement over 1-11.

But it’ll be seen as a major disappointment because of the hype.

This is the thing TrumpyCane doesn't get

Yes Colorado won 1 game last year..and?

Its literally an entirely new group of players, its like 70 new players

It has nothing to do with coaching, it would be coaching if it was a similar roster to last year
I’d say the offensive coordinator deserves some credit for coaching. Deion’s job is the same as Mario’s. Bring in as much talent as possible and get out of the way when it comes to actual football coaching. I mean is Nick Saban a coaching savant or does he just get the best players?

Right... the early success and hype cuts both ways. Coming into the season a lot of people expected ~4 wins for them, but b/c after the unexpected early success, new expectations have been set (for a lot of people) and exceeding the initial expectations (which were the more realistic ones) will be seen as a letdown.

I missed that - what was said?
Deion had the team at Jackson State take a vote; on live recording, with a show of hands of who wanted to kick Mark Pope off the team. The Yays had it. He got up from his seat and walked out of the room.

Has to win in the trenches primarily. He’s not winning those battles against the big boys. Hope he doesn’t think hiring Sapp will help with that.

Yea..when you’re the absolute inferior opponent that **** happens. CU is not a better team than Oregon. & nobody expected CU to go in there and beat Oregon 4 weeks ago..only thing that changed was CU beating a meh TCU team, a terrible Nebraska team..and Colorado state by 7 in OT. I don’t get the hate surrounding dude..but I understood the casual hype..they could go 5-7 or 4-8 and that’s a successful year 1 for him up there tbh

My comment was a blend of sarcasm/tongue in cheek/whatever.

In all seriousness, I believe the hate comes from the unbelievable amount of hype CU has gotten. Every podcast, national pundit, etc was on their knees for Sanders for beating teams they were more talented then (props to him for getting those guys and doing what he did in the portal). But you want to run out rappers and movie stars on your sidelines and make it a show…that hate is going to come back 10x harder since you are drawing all that attention to your program.

I’m curious to see how that team responds going from national darling to national punching bag once USC and some of the other PAC-12 teams boat race them later in the year.

Wait till these kids start going through loss after loss and Prime starts blaming them in the locker room. It's gonna get Ugly......
Wait until it's his staff on the opposite end of that too.

You can't say **** yesterday like "Get ME now. This is the worst I'LL ever be. I keep receipts. Blah blah blah." and then not expect people to start blaming YOU when specific areas of your team or gameplan suck. You think Grime is just going to continually be about ME when it's time to accept blame....repeatedly....as they lose more and more and more games...and the only celebrity showing up is Carrot Top?

Our team this year:

Offense

QB: Same
RB: Same
WRs same
2/5 OL same, 1 TF

DE 2/2 Same
DT 1/2 same
LB 1/2 same
S 2/2 Same
"Star" same
1/2 CB Same

We have essentially the same exact team from last year except for 5 transfer who are starting, so yes with an almost identical team TrumpyCane would say it's a great coaching job if we go from 5 to 10

Now do Colorado's starters from last year

Disagree, if Miami wins at UNC that will make people talk about UM. Also to add they play Clemson on the following game. The media will be hyping that up if Miami is 6-0
Clemson is 2-2 and unc is average. Nobody is hyping up that Clemson game any more. Y’all want media love so bad lol. As long as prime is in Colorado they will be the topic

Unless you watched this game, it is impossible to understand how lopsided it was. I actually have never seen one like it between top 25 teams. It was actually worse than our beat down of Washington. And it wasn’t just players. The coaching difference was shocking.
