it’s going to be interesting the medicals for these guys. UM is usually overly cautious, but I wonder how the NFL is going to view it. Huge for philips that he didn’t miss a game this year while playing a demanding snap count.

We're going to have to see what happens at the combine in regards to Rousseau. Even NFL GMs can have recency bias and frankly GR hasn't done anything in a year. If I had to play a guy on my NFL defensive line right now, I'd take Phillips. He's more well rounded and versatile. He may not have the pass rush ceiling that Rousseau has though. One is the safer pick, one is more boom or bust.

If season were to end today the HOU pick would be 7th and could move up depending on how the games go this weekend. Jealen and GR will likely both be there at 7. I think Jaelen actually fits Miami's system better. But give me Parsons or a WR with Houston's pick.

both are very gifted dlineman. Phillips in a sense is a better pure edge rusher than Rousseau as he has more of a pass rushing Repertoire going against tackles. Rousseau can win both inside and outside but is a bit more raw rushing the passer on the edge.

imo both should be top 15 picks

I think they both have a chance at going in R1 but GR is the better player with the higher ceiling therefore will go first to the Dolphins.

I believe his injury past makes Phillips fall to the 2nd. Still then Roche should be picked in the 3rd. That would be amazing recruiting for us.
