Opening line for Pitt, -14

****, I seriously posted this right after you.

Mods - can you merge my thread with this one?

I feel way more comfortable about this monster line than last week's. Pitt will quit in the second half in front of 6000 fans.....4500 of which will be Canes fans.

31-10 Canes.

27-3 Canes. Cold weather might keep the score down.

I agree. I think we completely shut them down as well. They're 97th and 98th in the country in total offense and scoring offense. They might put up fight early because their season is over and they have nothing left to play for and would love to spoil our season, but I think that fight will fade. This team knows whats at stake the following weeks and will not let Pitt come between that.

Their QB has 5 TD and 5 INT, 54.6 rating. Temp will be in 40s. We're going to push their **** in

They may have a different QB starting on Friday. From looking at the box score of their VT game, looks like they played a FR QB (242 Yards and 1 INT).

We were -17 last week vs 5d on their future lines. Still think 2 TD favorite on the road with how we’ve been playing down is respectable.

Its funny but the cold weather of Pittsburgh hasn't really bothered Miami in the past.

Once you start hitting and tackling, guys get warmed up fairly quickly and get to playing football

I still recall that 2003 game at Heinz(final Big East game for UM) and it was absolutely frigid the whole weekend. And after the first drive(where Pitt marched for a TD) the rest of the game Miami dominated on both sides of the ball.

We win this game. Even under Golden we beat them up there and we always play them late like this. When your *** is getting tackled and sacked as the QB it's terrible in the cold. If we run the ball well we win the game easily, if we don't we leave It close late. It's a simple as that. I don't know why we don't run the wildcat on all short yardage. Gives us a extra blocker.

Didnt our team come out two years ago up in Pitt without shirts on for the pregame...lol....weather will not be a problem.

Get in, get out, get on with our lives. Make it running clock or get up early and play all the young kids.
