All losses are bad but this one is really bad. Georgia tech n Virginia (Virginia beat Louisville already so there goes a tie breaker) are undefeated in acc play and the don’t play each other. If they win out, Miami is out of the acc championship (assuming we win out which is very possible) the wild cards are duke n Pitt for us. Btw manny’s bunch are also undefeated in acc play. Am I missing something here or we really screwed?

The way CFB is now days (especially the ACC) any of these teams liable to drop another game or two. Tonight fcking sucks, but it’s plenty football ahead.

Well if the Virginia vs Georgia tech scenario plays out we might be out of the playoff too because Virginia beat Louisville. We would have to root for nd to win out. Chit got real !!
Simmer… we’ll fall too 8-12 and if we win out will control our own destiny still.

Sucks to have Burned our probably only loss to give already but team needs to come dialed in

A 1 loss Miami gets in the playoffs this year. Probably best if Miami wins out and Virginia/gt wins out as well so we don’t play the acc championship game
Why do you think that exactly? If ND doesn't beat USC, we will finish with 0 ranked wins - which they literally just shifted to value more. And if we aren't even in the ACC CG, we are absolutely ****ed from that perspective as well.

Our best hope in that even is to literally STOMP on everyone. I'm talking we have to try to win our next 6 games by 50.... From start to finish we have to be aggressive and dominate.

If there are two teams in the ACCCG playing with only 1 (or 0 for GTech) losses, both them can EASILY get in the CFP over us. And good ******* luck having the ACC get 2 teams, let alone 3...

We NEED to get into ACCCG and win it. period.

This "assuming we win out" stuff is getting absurd. Did you all just become UM fans in December 2024?
Yes Miami history tells us that at least there 1 more loss in the swallow but Louisville was the biggest threat in the schedule and no other team in the schedule have the speed and qb play that gave Miami troubles tonight but the yea history tells that more loses are in the way

Why even watch the rest of the season? If your “assuming the collapse is imminent” like the past 20 years

Watching one game at a time and hoping for the best each week is one thing.

Assuming we win out and then imagining how that will play out for our CFP chances is absurd.

I suspect you understand that distinction, notwithstanding your porst's nonsensical rhetorical question and follow-up strawman.
