Only positives

It’s ok to admit you got your *** beat. We got our *** beat. There were no positives from getting your *** beat.
I agree. You can't take anything positive away from an ***-beating. There is nothing to be learned from this loss.

In two of the three years Manny was here UNC went up big early, we would claw back, and UNC would end up winning after we come up short.

This game plays out exactly the same way if we had Manny Sr, Manny Jr, and evidently Manny Jr Jr.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to Manny Jr Jr:

Very Manny like. If you didn’t know Manny was fired you would think he’s still on the sidelines

Tvd still suspect staring guys down in zone but thank god he’s back to what he was last year. Against maybe the worst defense in FBS but still
Maybe we should fit him with a visor that covers his eyes so DBs can't track him (aside from head movement).

You talking about stats, I’m talking about ball placement and the way he LOOKED. Watching that game, how many times did WRs have to make spectacular catches on open passes to help TVD get those stats?

We can act blind to it but when we play an actual defense (UNCs sucks) it’ll get exposed…. AGAIN
74% completion> 50% completion to the same receivers. There were a few drops today too.

Your "eyes" can tell you whatever you like. TVD wasn't perfect today.. But he was SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER than against MTSU. Against MTSU his passes were so off that his receivers couldn't even get their hands on the ball.

Only positive TrumpyCane saw was Steele made 2nd half adjustments

Clearly the best coach on the team

Marginally better? That's honestly your takeaway? No, he didn't play amazing and deliver the win but to say marginally is disingenuous, imo.
The stats are good. His ball placement and staring down receivers was still a problem just didn’t bite us in the butt like it did 2 weeks ago

If that’s where you’re drawing the line then fine, he threw catchable balls… plenty of bad ones though that I would hope we want to improve on

Gattis remembered how to use Mallory

Receivers had some good YAC. Broke some tackles

Colbie Young trying his best Langham impersonation

Sacks. Lots of sacks

Young was a cool revelation. Our other receivers made lots of plays too. Mallory showed why I've been a fan of his as a pass catcher other than the one crucial drop. Ran like healthy player finally this season. TVD seemed much more comfortable other than the last throw that ended the game, We panicked once the receiver was called inbounds and the clock kept running.

The defense made some nice adjustments at the half. Hated we gave up the 15+ play drive but still much better than the start when it looked we were going to get run out of the stadium again by them.

Only wish we could stop making everything more difficult than it should be.

I feel this

Going down 14-0 to them…just can’t do it and expect to beat an offense like that

Yes we came back and made it close but the football gods and their odds will always catch up to you when you play like that

It’s just kind of where we are at as a program to convert a big 4th down and have Rooster commit a phantom fumble. It’s not like the D player even made a great play.
