One thought watching CFB all day

I never understood the extreme love affair with Dante Moore
Exactly. He has poor pocket awareness and a very hard time going through his progressions if his first read isn’t open. Being a great athlete does not make one a great QB.

The zebras helping Taint as usual. They didn’t call the blatant hold on the DT in the previous play and then throw a bogus flag on the next play.

I am guessing here, but watching our OL, i think they decided to work on pass pro first. They look pretty cohesive, even though it was Stanford. Also they are known to have the OL get better as the season progress. They have more raw tools and talent to work with right now. By the time we get to the meat of the schedule should be better.

Also another thing, Kirby Smart said something in the mold of the SEC coaches have been skating by with out talenting the opponents and now they are forced to coach against more teams who can match up.

Alot of in season development needed across the country, we will see who ends the year strong
People are worried about who looks great now. But its who looks great in November. Last season was the first time in ages we were playing better late in the season than anytime before. Also every team has new players emerge and we have alot of candidates ready to break out and become stars, outside of the well known players like Toney, Mensah Bryce etc.

I’ll tell you my one thing I realized after today is that Miami has the best QB in college football. Again.
While I believe this statement, I still want to see us against decent competition. One fact is that all of the QB's that were talked up all summer aren't looking too good right now. Reminds me of last year...

Was about to say Georgia oline has looked decent we will see when they hit their conference schedule. Our oline will definitely be taking its lumps when we get to conference play. Been a few times where Stanford and famu got back a little too quickly for my taste and got Mensah off time but he just so happen to toss it up right where our guys were hha.

I personally think offensive football has significantly regressed in this area. The talent mismatch between D-Line and O-Line is gigantic.

Doesn't help that colleges resort to more and more gimmicky schemes that take as much burden away from the QB. Bill Walsh would be appalled seeing what's on the field at times.
