One thought watching CFB all day

[Elmer Leghorn]

Oklahoma has the worst OL I’ve seen in a while

Michigan was all over Mateer. I thought the same as I was watching.

[TheATLCane]

Are you saying we don't have a good OL?

[cway313]

Does anybody in America have a good offensive line?

LSU through "1 game", ND, through "1 game" nothing else stands out.

[AtlAtty]

$42MM roster vs $4.2K roster.

In defense of the right tackle, he did run to the QB to help him off the ground after the sack. Is there an Oline hustle award for that?

[The U is back to work]

UVA game 1 stood out

Not many others that I’ve seen

[rascon]

Why unfortunately? They had a good one last year too.

And we dominated it.

We need ND to be a CFP quality opponent

Why do we need ND to be good?

I think we’re going to be good. But it just struck me watching Oklahoma, Oregon and Alabama.

The Portal has hurt trench play across the nation. Good offensive linemen are rare and now they’re stretched thin across rosters.

Derek Plazz and Tommy Kinsler would be a big help to us, I know that.

It seems like in most positions the portal has allowed teams to consolidate talent. How much do you think chemistry/experience in the system plays a role in this? Not many guys like Pancake taking the traditional development route and sticking it out. But Tengwell’s video showed we struggled at times with chemistry and communication. Idk I could be wrong but kinda a working theory I got

[Canemang]

Ohio St OL is **** good

Ohio St OL is **** good

Decent

[drewm3i]

Either OSU is good up front or Texas sucks.

[itsdolphhh]

Best overall
- BYU

I watched BYU vs Arizona today and this is NOT true lmao

[canemachine]

NIL has changed the game. Trench play will be defined by coaching largely instead of stockpiling bluechip lineman. It's why my belief is success in modern football will be largely dictated by those who know and value trench play the most.

Arizona had 1 sack the entire game.

[stormsurge]

we all heard how our ol was better in run blocking in fall camp. maybe we will develop into one of the top ol this year. i suspect we will.

[AtlAtty]

I’ll tell you my one thing I realized after today is that Miami has the best QB in college football. Again.
