One thing about Mario…

We get absolutely blown off the field in this exact situation almost every single time in the last 20 years. Results weren’t good enough this year, period. But if you’re looking for optimism for the future, this is something you can point to. This and the goal line stand when the game was over in Raleigh really showed me these kids were interested in working no matter what. MANY previous Miami teams were not.

This.

Mike London at UVA kept his job a couple extra years from beating Miami teams who didn’t want to be out there.

Yeah I knew they were different when we were down 17-7 to A&M and stormed back

And they’ve held up physically all year

We didn’t waste a timeout in the first half. That’s progress. I’m staying positive lol
I’ve noticed Cristobal rarely uses timeouts in the first half. Even when he should he usually doesn’t. It’s the exact opposite the second half.

In the second half he wastes timeouts. In the first half he holds onto them when he shouldn’t.

Let’s just say “leaves a lot to be desired” regarding his gameday coaching, is a gross understatement
