If that's the case it's same thing. Beck has to follow up Ward AND rehab from his injury. So much different/more difficult position for him to follow imo

Cam made mistakes at WSU that were forced because of lots of pressure from a terrible oline. Some of those mistakes and “big play hunting” carried over to Miami but the guy was 1/1. Special talent.

In terms of Beck, I’ve heard from guys in the Hecht that he’s a different type of leader than Cam. Everyone has been impressed by him. I’ve been a harsh critic bc he looked god awful last year in their losses. He also had moments of greatness. All in all I have high hoes and I hope he Balls out!

I’ve been saying it the entire time but Beck being elite vs just a good to really good QB (I genuinely think good is the floor for him), is quite simply throwing less picks than last year and closer to his 23’ form in that regard, and how he plays under pressure -more so physical pressure if pocket collapses, but pressure of big moments as well. I feel good about him playing well in big moments
just cause of his UGA experience. But the INTs under duress is the key to me

I truly believe he’s going to ball out here, I think Beck brings strengths where cam had weaknesses. Cam would never take the check down and it would drive me insane because, well sometimes it would lead to a big play more often than not, it would lead to a bad play. Also, Beck is deadly out of play action pass, and that wasn’t something Cam had in his game. So I think our run game is going to be used far more effectively this year to take the air out of the game, like we should’ve against Syracuse. So I’m not downplaying this offense this year, I do not think it will be too much of a drop off from last year’s. This offense will definitely be top 10 in the country.
