One Overlooked Factor in UM’s Favor (vs UF)

Vegas has them winning 4.5 games this season. They lost there best D player and 2nd best O player. Their D was awful last year, across the board. They didn't bring in much from the portal, have a few players back and a few players injured. I like it being a day game more than a night game atmosphere. Saying all that, if we win by a extra point, it's a win. Losing this game is not acceptable. Their is simply to much on the line. The kitchen sink is being thrown at this game particularly. Locked and loaded. Go Canes!
part of that is that they face the toughest schedule in CFB.

And South Carolina in 2020 but that was Florida's best team in recent memory and South Carolina was terrible.

Also guessing they had covid restricted crowds anyway.
I think South Carolina was 2-8 that year.

They also played Tennessee in a home opener but that was a 4-8 team lol.

A lot is being made of communication. It isn't like we haven't spent the last 100 years without a radio in the Helmut. When we go fast we'll still need signals.

I think the point is that road games and stadiums matter. Sucks to admit, but UF is a tough place to play. They haven’t lost a home opener in 35 years. The new communication headsets, it plays a factor in communication, procedure issues, turnovers etc. what I’m pointing out is the CW experience SHOULD help negate those items. If we were rolling out TVD again, I’d be ****ting bricks. But we’re not, we are rolling out a guys that probably loves this environment. He’s proved he can excel in such games.

We roll.
I’m curious to know who they played in the home opener’s. Typically teams open up with cupcakes

About the topic in the OP, or having a toddler that doesn't sleep?
As to the 2nd issue, good luck. Andf if you come up with a really good solution, let’s patent/copyright it and make billions. I’ll go 50/50 with you just in case you don’t want to be too rich.

Well there also is a reason being at home is usually worth like 3 points against the spread. Plus first game of season, angainst a rival where games are almost always close regardless of talent level, and using a brand new communications system….

I definitely think that aspect is real. I think we will be the better team in this game and this season. But also while we like aren’t respecting their OLine, someone like PFF actually is cause they like their 3 returning starters - especially their center. And the biggest problem for us may be turnovers which can derail any game. And Mertz just really isn’t a guy that turns it over much. Meanwhile Ward has shown to have a fumbling problem. We will see…

I’m confident we win. I think the score will be closer than the game actually is. Only way we blow them out is if we don’t have any turnovers.
Thank you for stating the absolute obvious
