Help for when the dream ends: Richt?s other passion | The Telegraph

I've heard Richt mention multiple times about how important it has become to him to continue to help his players long after they leave school. Well that's all well and good and lots of coaches use buzzwords like "family" and "lifelong relationship" but here is an article of how Richt actually implemented a program at Georgia and what motivated him to do it. I also appreciated his attention to detail in that he was aware enough to realize that some people/businesses would attempt to get involved based on publicity alone and they'd guard against that. The man obviously has to win on the field here but we've already won all the other battles if a parent is looking for someone they can entrust their son with for 3-5 years and beyond.

Thanks for posting. Glad to have him as a part of this program once again. Very proud.

it’s amazing to see someone with so much influence on young people to use it so wisely.

Wish this was more publicly known. How could parents not send their kids to miami with this guy as the coach
