Someone told them that. They didn't make it up. If someone doesn't want a reporter to leak their news they should keep their mouth shut. And if Mario wants to be in Miami nothing can stop him. If it is done no report about Mario being in some recruit's home or not is going to matter. They've got a job.

If someone told them that Mario is gonna be out recruiting for Oregon then they should report it. If that is incorrect they are gonna have to take it up with their source. Unless they're just flat out lying in some misguided attempt to keep a grown man from taking a job then I've got no problem with it. They've got subscribers who want info just like people come to you for information.

Taking what these people say as fact is like saying you believe wrestling is real. The last two weeks should have proven that. They’ll post news even if there’s nothing to post

former players who know Mario says he's coming and people want to believe a bunch of hack reporters.
Btw, when golden was getting canned, I told Barry Jackson he was wrong, it was happening that day and he told me that his sources said not true. he reads the boards. he does have sources but remember they arent people close to the situation.

I may drop a nugget in passing, but legit I try not to pry too much b/c I respect ppl’s jobs, & confidentiality despite friendship. If I get a green light, I’ll speak. I asked about Mario’s side deal when it first came out & I know there was a side deal which is a perk for Oregon coaches, but as far as details, I didn’t push.

In the rush to be first bad info gets out and I know that. But I don't think they actually believe anything they do is gonna stop this. Don't even think thats their goal.

Still no confirmation by ANYBODY that the Mario deal is done .. a contract actually signed. He is out recruiting and Manny is getting ready to head to California .. on a recruiting trip. It is beyond an odd situation.
