This is the first post on any message board I have ever posted about what a **** job the refs did this night.

The fumbe early on was a gift. I don't know how the replay booth goofed that one, but they did.

The rest of the game, it was an abortion. Their RT had so many uncalled holds it wasn't even funny.

Cager, dude nearly had his pants ripped off.

Chad, when he went down late, his arm was pulled behind him and his body was completely sideways.

Dallas on the last wildcat play, flagrant facemask.

You could go on and on, but what a load of crap. Typical of our season as far as OL holding our DL.

Agree with all of this except the part about the fumble. The ball was coming out before the RB's knee hit the ground. You could see it clearly from one of the angles (face on). The rest of the game the holding by the Wisconsin cheaters was egregious and the refs were awful. Officiating like that cheapens CFB badly.

Head official should be suspended. Richt should as well for his play calling

It wasn't even the missed calls themselves becasue they happen all the time. It was the context. An enormous 3rd and long where Trent clearly would've sacked the QB and put them out of FG range. The the TD on the same drive where the RT not only held but managed hands to the face twice on the same play!
Then of course we score and get the ball back to go ahead and Cager is held on the EZ and the ball is picked by the guy doing the holding.
Penalties are part of football but these had a direct impact on the game tonight.
