Imo this new DC search is just the excuse Mork needs to get out of the OC talk, which allows him to remain status quo and calling plays like a mad man for 19. Can't wait for him to hang that field goal on the gates in the opener, that'll show em

It’s not at all self fabricated. Barry Jackson is the one that reported a BOT member saying 1 mil for an OC is a non issue. Try again.

You are trying to tie Diaz staying to an OC offer and/or a raise for himself. That is just not true. If we hired Kendal Briles and offered to pay him more than he's making at Temple he still would have applied and taken this job.

The guy wanted to be a HC and run his own show. It's that simple.

They have plenty of money to pay both. The whole conspiracy theory that they can't and won't is total message board regurge.

Those days are over.

what do you think is the reason for the lack of news for an OC hire?

My poor CIS has turned into a trollathon or an idiotathon. You choose the label, but this beautiful place is taking a beating with the ever-increasing wave of bad schtick dullards and/or rejects from the cast of Born This Way looking for a platform for their witless material.

Yeah, there is some pretty poor "comedic" schtick around these parts.
In baseball terms, it is low single A......Delmarva Birds in the house!

Usually we don't see that kind of movement until after signing day and the bowls? Think FSU is open about it because they aren't going to one.

Barry reported last week the BOT came up with a mill for a new OC.

Unfortunately our HC thinks our OC is doing a great job, with his 95th ranked offense.
That was before Diaz was linked to possible HC jobs.
So did the BOT react to Diaz possibly leaving by taking some money from the OC pot when he was offered 1.5 to stay?
If yes, and had Diaz accepted, I think that would have kept the staff as status quo meaning no OC as the available funds would have been used to keep Diaz.
But since that is no longer the case, I think it should free up some money to hire both up and coming OC and DC.
Will they is the ultimate question.

This program does not have $1 million for.an OC and $1.5 million for a DC. We just don't. Anyone telling you differently is lying.

But how do you know that? Like real talk, I'm not even trying to be funny or sarcastic. How could you positively, unequivocally say that unless you work with the BOT or whoever else calls the shots. I remember before Richt everyone was saying we would never pay 4 mil a year for a head coach, until it happened.

Our next OC is Mark Richt. This guy is going to do absolutely nothing!
