One AP voter’s rationale

The Set up for a Women Voting Rights joke is PERFECT… but I will let her slide this time around ! 😂😂😂

All joking aside, these sort of shenanigans have been occuring for years, pre-dating women being involved in the polls (pause). Miami Herald (or News?) had an article during one of UM's championship runs where other schools with worse records were being ranked higher than the Canes, with many admitting they didn't watch many of the college games, including the ranked teams. This was 30-40 years ago.
I'll take college FB over the NFL any day, but many of the folks involved in the game are biased a-wholes operating in bad faith.

Outstanding observation sir. I just didn't have the huevos to make that same comment, but I sure thought it. Kind of like that CEO at the Coldplay concert....

It's not the fact that it's a woman voting this way. There are plenty of people involved that have no idea what they are doing. It's the deflection of "it doesn't matter how I vote because there is so many people voting that it balances itself out."

So if it doesn't matter how you vote then why are you voting in the first place? It's a societal norm now to find excuses and to do it care free with a smile on your face that irks me.

Just like saying there are so many drivers out on the road, one drunken driver doesn't make a difference..

So you are trying to compare a person's gender, over which they have no control, to a person choosing to drink and drive?

We just have a bunch of low-T incels on this board who think it is HILARIOUS to focus on the gender of this voter and make stupid women-voting jokes. When her gender has nothing to do with the situation. At all.

As someone has pointed out, there are SEVEN voters who are still voting Florida ahead of USF. This particular voter was just stupid enough to post a video of herself minimizing the inexplicable and impossible justifications for how she voted this week.

There's more than one stupid and/or biased AP voter. But the system largely works. By bundling together 70 idiots, you get an idiotic cross-section that, more often than not, arrives at reasonably correct results by averaging the diverse and idiotic rankings of 70 idiots.

Do I think that Miami should be #4 instead of #5? Yes. Am I going to fly off the handle and start insulting women as a result of what one woman has done with her AP vote this week? That would just be ridiculously childish and petty.

There are seven other people who had Florida ahead of South Florida. People are just focused on her. It’s not just her. It’s the entire ******* thing they’re turning it into a gender issue when it’s a confidence issue and the others are all bunch of white dude.
Who are the seven other voters? So we can belittle them appropriately as well.

I have to say though, I doubt they did a video showing just how clueless they are.

Exactly!

Making fun of the “look at me” idiot, regardless of gender, is deserved!!

She loves the clicks. She doesn’t give 2 ***** about she should be kicked out. The same with the 7 other idiots not doing their job properly.

Keep the comments on here about the stupidity of the voter, which is richly deserved; not about her being a woman, and certainly not with sexual/political comments. As pointed out by @MedleyCane the issue is not gender, it is stupidity and/or simply not understanding that there is a privilege to voting, and that many people care about the results of the vote.

There are men who are just as dumb or careless on this subject as @TheOriginalCane explained. Yet we don’t judge them by their gender, make comments about their sexual preferences, or call them “woke”. Why, because all those issues are besides the point.

Stick to the point. Now I’m upset because it seems like I am defending this idiot when I am not.

No one said anything about her gender... just about her and or other stupid voters.. male, female or whatever they call themselves, being allowed to vote on things they don't care about but make jokes about it. It is their stupidity I make fun of..

C’mon now, we’d be saying the same thing if it was a man…

THIS is why the ap is a joke. I don't care three ***** about someone's opinion who knows nothing about what they vote on and even less about their biases. ***** lame. This hype of USF is amusing as well. Feel free to say you can't sleep on them. But be real. #1 Boise is nothing without jeanty. They showed that last season. #2 The turds simply showed again they're nothing but the usual sec hype train with no substance. Gotta stop acting like these people proved much of anything at this point. All I'm gonna say is I jumped all over that 16.5 for 5k. It's free money.
