DRAMATIC…
Oh absolutely, not a Brown thing, just a thing where our OC has not shown he can do what it takes consistently to help these guysAgree and I would add, Brown or any of our QBs is likely going to get killed. . . .
- Saban is not hiring Gattis (again) to run his offense. Gattis dug his grave. Let him lie in it.Seriously, the prayer is for Gattis to go, just go back to Bama and re-learn the coaching game before Saban retires, and bring in someone, anyone that will not put insomniacs to sleep with the Big Ten-esque play calling and offensive efficiency.
- You don't think the coaches know who is playing defense well and who isn't? You don't think the coaches know who is making tackles and who isn't? You don't think they go over film at all?"If they kept stats for defenses in a formula like the QBR for QB's then they could track team defensive efficiency.
- If you thought we were winning 10 games this season... I am going to say this without trying to offend you but you were delusional to begin with. 10 wins this season would have only happened if we played **** near perfectly every game and every team we faced played worse than normal. This does not happen in college football. The chances of this were less than 5%.We could have won 10 games this year and still implemented the big picture, would have actually made it easier to recruit, probably. I am all-in on anything that produces the long-term goal of greatness for this program but you are asking a lot from the fanbase to sit and watch purposeful losing to make your point get across.
- TVD is more likely to stay than Garcia at this point. He has proven he can put up points and numbers for the Hurricanes. He has good NIL deals here. It would be as big of a risk going to a different team (assuming we change the OC at the end of this season as is rumored). You think A&M's offense is terrible? Have you not seen our offense? At this point would TVD stay? Garcia clearly isn't staying as he is being passed over for an athletic and inaccurate freshman qb, I would suggest UGA for Garcia if they will have him. So we will be left long-term with hoping we can teach Jacurri to hit receivers on the run (in their pattern and not back in another direction or stopping in the endzone waiting for the ball to arrive, try that against Clemson next week kid!). All that coaching talent assembled on one staff and we are sitting at 5-5 in one of the weakest Power 5 divisions in college football in years. This staff couldn't figure out how to outscore Texas A&M, one of the truly horrific offenses I have ever seen. We couldn't stay close to Duke at home yet somehow GTech found a way to beat Duke and hold them to 278 yards of offense and 20 points.
- Their head coach was fired this season at the end of September. For as bad as they are. Our offense only scored 28 points against them. See my above point. The Gtech coach should be fired for not coming out with that offense the first drive of the 2nd half.
- Agreed 95% of this board thinks Clemson will dog walk us and assume Pitt will be a loss. Everybody also want a modern offense that puts up points.I have no idea how we will do against Pitt the last game of the season, but I do know that we will get blown out by Clemson and that we will miss as many tackles as is humanly possible in that game. I can also guarantee that if we ever have a lead in that game we will squander it as quickly as possible. Prove me wrong and you might get some believers back that think this is not going to take years to scale the Mount Everest of a problem that was not as big of a problem the day we signed Mario as it appears to be 10 games into his tenure. I want this to happen, I am being patient and I am venting for the first time this season, I even shut up after FSU, but someone needs to be held accountable and fired for the performance on the field this year and I am not saying it is Mario but eventually it will be Mario. Get an Offensive philosophy that might fill the stands that is from this century that can be successful on the field and in recruiting. Get a defense that can cause chaos for the other team instead of looking like a Benny Hill comedy bit with defenders knocking out their own teammates more than players from the other team. Build a successful program and the stands will be filled, play like this and expect to have no one believing in "the process".
- NIL is a part of modern college football. It's not your money. Be thankful we have great NIL backers and a monster of a recruiter in Mario.NIL money is not worth looking ridiculous in losses for any kid, **** you might even be able to woo those you lost for NIL money back again if you showed less money to them but more success (eh hum, Shemar Stewart).
- I know this is an old adage but it's a bad one. Success is not born in a vacuum. Most success stories are born from failure and usually a lot of it. Therefore, I would say failure is definitely a father of success and usually a great father at that. But when you lose, well success has many father's and failure is an orphan.
First of all, thank you for taking your time to post this. It took time, effort, and energy. And for that I commend you. Now I am going to nitpick most of what you said lol

We do not need a defense that causes chaos. That is what Manny Diaz was giving us and it showed to be not worth giving up 10,000 yards rushing. We need a defense that can play it's assignments and have players communicating and on the same page. We need a defense that gets the stops when needed. Gone are the days of defenses that do not give up yards and points.

Good points but **** it's a novel. A for effortThis is why people quit going to church FFS.
But but but Jake has "moxie"... Or is it "swag" or "that dog in him".... Remember all that stuff???.. LOL!!!.Bless ur heart; scholar & gentleman u r.
I immediately scanned, & when I saw the phrase “Jake Garcia ‘got passed over for an athletic & inaccurate QB.” (Paraphrasing).
Jake is completing 58.2% of his passes w/ 2 TDs & 4ints. So far, in limited action, Jacurri is completing 65.6% of his passes w/ 3 TDs & 1 int. Granted it’s a small sample size, but let’s just say he played much better than Garcia vs. UVA. Oh, & Jake has been sacked 9x, & let’s not talk about his fumbles. Yet, somehow he was “passed over.” Lol
