The thought police will be by shortly to tell you what a clown you are and to reprimand you for not blaming this completely on Al Golden.

YEP- Scarlett trolled us hard. **** him. Rather have it straight up like Sony, Cook, Collins although it sucked losing those cats.

**** Redwine, too. What kind of low character kid switches that late in the game, regardless of circumstances?

This kid should have honored his word to Louisville and not abandoned his commitment so late in the game.

Karma is a bltch!

I'm not with the thought police, but Al is responsible for the failure of having and losing Scarlett's commitment. If Scarlett played him he was a rube, and if Al just flat lost him he's no less to blame, especially given the fact that he pushed other RB's that we now need out of the class.

Yes. **** Scarlett for ****ing over Golden. It's not like Scarlett had already been committed elsewhere and had shown himself to be flighty. It's not like there were other options we could have been in on.

More mad about Lawson than Scarlett to be honest. Don't blame them for not wanting to be shammed by this used car salesman though.

Lawson actually has a good excuse. Scarlett was the one who kept re-affirming his commitment and then bailed at the 11th hour.

My feelings haven't changed one bit. I'm waitin til golden gets fired. Not sure I have any faith in the BoT to make the right hire anyway. It really is depressing being a fan right now.

While you're somewhat right, Redwine isn't from Lou-vuhl and didn't stay here for some sloot. Those are 2 major douche-sissy strikes against Scarlett. Then again most dudes with the first name Jordan are soft shouldered anyway.

These jilted nincompoops will act like they didn't see this post.

Miami will always succeed at running back no matter who is back there tbh... It's actually unfortunate for him. Statistics indicate Goldens last 4 starting running backs will all be in the NFL when Duke gets drafted as well as Miami's rich history of having the starting running back dating back to 1991 being signed to an NFL contract... No need to bash. At least we won't play him at fsu.

The one thing that sticks with me is that Scarlett convinced golden to only take two running backs in this class instead of 3. Then the kid bailed. Pile on golden if you want but that was a **** move, plain and simple.

It makes me wonder if there was malicious forethought to that.

Losing Scarlett was the biggest blow to the class, but I don't blame the kid.

It's not Scarlett's fault that the staff inexplicably pushed Dexter Williams out of the class to try to solidify a player (Scarlett) whose commitment was viewed as shaky for weeks before he flipped. It's not Scarlett's fault that the staff lied repeatedly to Cronkrite and failed to contact him for weeks during the summer, forcing his hand to decommit and never trust the coaches again.

The biggest reason why we only ended up with one great back (Walton) instead of four was because of how badly the coaching staff mishandled a potentially great situation. If they never push Williams out, then there's a far greater chance he sticks. If they never lie to Cronkrite and are honest with him from the beginning, perhaps they have a better shot of mending fences late in the process.

Folden let a 17 year old kids manage his roster, and you're blaming the kid? LULZ. You guys never cease to amaze.

Exactly. And it's not the first time Golden's been duped by a kid, and was left twisting in the wind, not addressing a position of need.
