His point is that the stadium had empty seats... many empty seats if you were at the FAU game.

He's right.... and it's F-up!!! Look at all of the televised games on TV and tell me how many seats you can count... not many.

Bottom line... We need everyone to show up to see the games and support the team and fill those damnnn seats every week

I didn't even know this guy was still around. I figured he would have a new career at this point since he's not very good at this one.

I'm all for filling to capacity, but I'll take this year's 57K for FAU over the 45K we had last year against CLEMSON (half of that 45K was away fans).

I think it's crazy to say we need to be at capacity this year, especially after the last 4-5 years where we averaged under 35K a game and the bowl sounded like a vacuum. Worst atmosphere in college sports and it was embarrassing.

This year? I've had more fun these past two weeks and felt more alive at this stadium than any time I can remember. The atmosphere hasn't been this good since we left the Orange Bowl. Just keep winning and the fans will continue to show up.

Your point is taken and I agree... 57k is allot better then 45, but 57k is sold tickets,... and to my point... "WE NEED FILLED SEATS" and to get off your *** up and come to the games. Those on here who talk a good game... Stop talking and show up.

and to your point... YES, for those who went to the game the vibes in the stadium reminded me of years past too... All good stuff

I'll see you there. 143 row 7... look for the guy standing up, yelling his *** off !!!

CANES!!!!

I can look over and see you. I'm 144, Row 4. I'm loving the atmosphere this year. It's the first time in a long time I've seen us cause multiple false starts from noise.

What empty seats did you see? You mean when it was raining and everyone went inside?

No, the FAU game had more empty seats than FAMU, which was weird because the lot was fuller. It was still rocking.

These were the largest two crowds for cupcakes I've ever seen at a Hurricanes game in the 25+years I've been going. If they can get 60k+ for FAMU and 55k+ for FAU, that's speaking volumes. Anybody expecting capacity crowds for those games either hasn't been paying attention to attendance ever or has unrealistic expectations of the fanbase. Even during the peak 2000-2002 seasons, the Orange Bowl had huge, empty sections of the stadium for most games. The upper deck corners were never full unless it was FSU or Notre Dame.

This. What was attendance for the FAU game a few years ago? I think it was below 40k.

Anybody that's been to canes games in the last 10 years, knows that these have been great crowds especially, considering the opponents. No question about it. If you say otherwise, you haven't been going to canes games.

It's like we have people on here that don't go to games, but feel compelled to comment about attendance by counting empty seats on TV. This is the canes. In the Orange bowl when we were winning championships these kind of games drew 40,000. And that's only been said on here like 1000 times. Attendance is actually better now in these first two games than it's ever been.

I wonder how many people have looked at the crowds at other ACC games. Just take a peek at the Duke/WF or fsu's little ****** VIP area with cloth seats and a few vents blowing hot air. Please, Hard Rock is looking like one of the best venues in the country right now.
(Need a "We Byke" somewhere in this thread - mad props to whoever started it.)
