And that’s why rape is the hardest crime to prosecute. Especially in criminal court. Incredibly so in criminal court against a wealthy person.

Would you rather have a local DA who works on multiple type crimes and has extremely limited resources go against a team of high powered attorneys

Or would you rather have a specialized *** crimes prosecutor who has the experts and resources in her database to go against a team of high powered attorneys.

You obviously want the special attorney with the resources.

Also, in this case, you don’t want to have to deal with two different DAs offices and two different municipalities. Defense would exhaust you

Calling police in a rape is pointless. Even with evidence, you cannot prove it wasn't consensual. Every female knows this. Much better treatment in civil vs criminal. Rape is by far the hardest case to prosecute. If its a false accusation, my money would be her motive is something other than money

This is incorrect. It is not pointless. To speak in such generalities indicates you do not understand the criminal, legal, or even civil nuance that exists across many of these cases. If you would like education on this matter I suggest you take the LSAT, hire a tutor, attempt to improve your LSAT, enroll in an accredited law school, ask your professor to have me come correct your lack of understanding of how this works. I defended these types of cases for 25 years in Dade and Broward, my visitation fee to academic institutions other than UM is $2000/hr. Start to save some $ to provide compensation to receive knowledge, but don't spout pure bull**** on a forum with actual professional men, who have the credentials to tell you that your full of **** and parotting sone very poor, and even dangerous, advice.

Your straight up out of touch. Women are definitely hesitant to go the criminal route in a rape accusation these days. And rightfully so. There are prosecutors who now specialize in rape which are much better option than a local DA.

Again, your knowledge on this matter is cursory at best. You clearly are not credentialed in the matter so our discussion can go no further, but just a hint, there are many instances where it would be advantageous for a victim to file a police report - to say otherwise is gross negligence. If you wish to learn please take the COA I laid out for you. And if you are an attorney (which we both know you are not) I will have my office begin the complaint/claim process to the Florida Bar by COB Friday.

Being pointless to go to police in all instances is obviously not what I was trying to say. That’s ridiculous.

I understand, and agree with what you are saying. But so many of these guys are attention whores, there is absolutely no way they would be able to function without social media.

AB, the topic at hand, is a prime example. He couldn't even talk to his boss man to man about the issues going on. He had to tweet them out. Tweet out his request to be released. He couldn't go and speak man to man & either try to work things out or ask to be released. So much easier to do it via Twitter. He's a flake and has some serious issues.

I've always been a 2a above all others kinda guy. But lately I'm starting to see how some are using the declination of the 1a to affect sentiment. Controlling the narrative without opposition voice has led to the ignorant view of needing 'common sense' gun laws. You must remember the average American has no clue as to why out founding fathers enumerated the 2a.
