Don’t like Omar or Antonio but what he said is correct.

He's right and he's wrong.

Yes, there are a lot of opportunistic women out there—but there are even more who have been assaulted and don't know how to deal with it, don't want to be shamed, don't want to be doubted, etc. Pretty tone deaf on his part to play the, "If it happened months ago she should've said something then—or immediately gone to police and had a rape kit done."

Even dumber than that, the entire premise of going on Twitter and having this debate—a place where the hands can type faster than the brain works, things aren't completely thought out, translation is easily lost and you're immediately on the defense.

Good Lord, I've made some simple missteps about the Canes and got eaten alive. Mistakenly wrote last week that Miami was 3-7 in Chapel Hill since 2004—instead of 3-4 ... (3+4=7, seven total games up there, head got confused, typed too fast) ... while laying out a quick synopsis of al seven games; how the Canes either won or lost.

Dude starts yelling about me about "fact checking" and I wasted the next 30 minutes of my life debating why or why not the Canes would struggle up there before ultimately muting him.

I can only imagine what would happen if I was stupid enough to take on the topic of rape, a controversial athlete, timing of said rape and if it did / didn't happen.

People need to learn from others mistakes--or make it simple and just delete twitter. I wonder if someone somewhere has a tally of how jobs and marriages have been ruined by a twitter post.

Literally every single thing he said is completely wrong

AB reached out to her on social media about helping him with his flexibility. She wasn't even a personal trainer. She taught little kids gymnastics. They hadn't even spoken since college. He flew her to Pittsburgh and encouraged her to start doing mobility training with other NFL athletes. He introduced her to other players and she started marketing herself as such. And as soon as the first incident occurred she went right back to just doing girls gymnastics and put him on ignore.

No, that is the last thing you should do. Seek counseling with someone with experience in the courts. Rape is by far the hardest crime to prosecute. Evidence from the scene does absolutely nothing as the defense will simply argue it was consensual. EVERY WOMAN KNOWS THIS. She did the right thing. She went to her church and they set her up with a former DA and a former *** crimes prosecutor.

What is he talking about? Agents? The media? No industry was created to prey upon athletes.

Every other possible way to extort is easier than convicting anyone, especially a NFL player of rape. Again, rape is hardest crime to convict. And NFL lets people play who are accused of rape. And AB has plenty of money to defend himself. If the accusation is false, the motive would most likely be something other than money.

She told someone at her church who put her in contact with an ex DA and a *** crimes prosecutor who advised her what to do. Easier said than done about the going back to work part. The first accusation is more of a weirdo thing than a rapey thing. He was also paying her well over $1,000 an hour for personal training

There are a lot of opportunistic women out there these days just as there are opportunistic men with things. Lazy people want handouts and easy fame while never spending s minute working for it. You see it everywhere.....and growing by some of the frivolous lawsuits you read about.

That said, men with money power and fame have been preying on women for longer than any of us have been alive. To act like that doesn’t happen and every situation is a money grab without knowing more of the facts is a bit ignorant.

It's a money play if she doesn't call police... Y'all can say whatever but we all know if it was a crime than it's a crime

She consulted with an ex DA and a *** crime prosecutor who advised her not to go criminal. Obvious move. At least two municipalities. One is his home town and the other would let the defense waste time getting trial changed.

Calling police in this case is pointless. Even with evidence, you cannot prove it wasn't consensual. Every female knows this. Much better treatment in civil vs criminal. Rape is by far the hardest case to prosecute. If its a false accusation, my money would be her motive is something other than money

Michael Jackson’s song “Billie Jean” is about groupies. From ‘Thriller’ circa 1983

Jackson said that "Billie Jean" was based on groupies he and his brothers encountered while they performed as the Jackson 5.[2][3][4] "They would hang around backstage doors, and any band that would come to town they would have a relationship with, and I think I wrote this out of experience with my brothers when I was little. There were a lot of Billie Jeans out there. Every girl claimed that their son was related to one of my brothers."[5]

According to Jackson's biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli, "Billie Jean" was inspired by letters Jackson received in 1981 from a woman claiming he was the father of one of her twins.[6][7] Jackson, who regularly received letters of this kind, had never met the woman and ignored those claims. However, she continued to send letters stating that she loved him and wanted to be with him, asking how he could ignore his own flesh and blood. The letters disturbed him to the extent that he suffered nightmares.[6]

Eventually, Jackson received a parcel containing a photograph of the fan, a gun, and a letter instructing him to kill himself at a particular time. The fan would do the same once she had killed "their" baby, so they could be together in the "next life". To his mother's dismay, Jackson had the photograph of the woman framed and hung above the dining room table of their family home.[clarification needed] The Jacksons later discovered that the fan had been sent to a psychiatric hospital.[6]

If a crime has been committed the police need to be involved. Ppl wouldnt aprove of someone taking a murder suspect to civil court and not criminal suspect.

Police get involved. The latest they would get involved would be during pre-trial. Speculation that Pennsylvania had been investigating AB. No need to go to criminal court. File civil and criminal will get involved. Rape is also much harder to convict than murder in criminal. Evidence means less in rape case because defense can always argue it was consensual.

Lets not forget OJ Simpson was not convicted in criminal court but found responsible for their deaths in civil court.
