offer on wingspan alone.....

Would sign him n let him bake for two years. Thim of Samson n he may be further along from a talent he played against perspective.

Visiting this weekend, strong mutual interest according to @DMoney 👇🏽

Is he visiting this weekend or sometime later this week? @DMoney said this weekend but Gaby's X post seems to imply its during the week.

Eh, dont want as much as Matthews. Jit would be a crappy consolation prize if Matthews went elsewhere. If he came in addition to Matthews would be cool, but doubt that happens.

I'll take whoever. McCoy and Rodriguez are done after this year and if Samson has a great year he might be NFL bound. You could never have enough OL bodies.

In speaking with sources:

--The major players for official visits are Texas A&Mand Miami with Florida and LSU in strong contention as well. Texas Tech, which is a leader in revenue sharing/NIL, is now an intriguing option because the visit to campus is set.

--The plan is for Olubobola to make two or three official visits before a late May or early June commitment.

Olubobola's parents are planning to join him on the official visits, which is vital in terms of their comfort level of having him attend a school. While the signing price will be in the upper six figures to possibly seven figures, there is an element of comfort and academics the family desires as well

--Miami made a big move when Olubobola was on campus two weeks ago. It was an exploratory visit in which Olubobola did not know much about the coaches or the program going in, but he left with the Hurricanes a realistic option.

The idea of coach Mario Cristobal's background being on the offensive line is big, and he connected well with offensive line coach Alex Mirabal. The Hurricanes offered last spring but there was not a ton of traction until the visit.

One thing Miami has to consider, though, is whether it has the funds to land five-star offensive tackle Mark Matthews, who is the No. 3 player in the class, and Olubobola. Both players could command seven figures if not in their first season in college, definitely by their second year, and that is a lot of money put into a pair of unproven players.

As previously stated, IMO don’t see us dropping the coin to land 2 5* OTs after the huge OL class last cycle.

WOW !!!

Looking at the kids name I was wondering if someone dropped a game of scrabble on the ground and the letters that turned over on the left formed his first name and the ones that turned over on the right was his last name.

Would NOT want to be an announcer trying to repeatedly say his name and it's a good thing he's not a QB or RB where they'd have to say it on every snap....
