Oliver V still a beast

With the news of NY possibly trading him, I looked up his highlights and he's still a beast. IMO, he looks thinner and more explosive than he was his entire time at Miami. Imagine if he wasn't on Goldens two-gap diet. Might have been a first rounder.

Exactly. I remember not being thrilled about his demeanor/focus while he was a Cane but he certainly has been an excellent pro. One of the rare kids that was probably justified in thinking about the NFL a little too much although he may have been drafted higher otherwise too.

Scheme change and injuries hurt him last year. He's still worth that contract on another team much like JPP who was traded last year.

While at UM, OV had like 9 career sacks and 4 of them were in the same game v. FAMU. Classic example of really talented player not producing to his talent level under bad coaching.

He had very good yards per carry numbers and solid total yards. I just never saw him be the special that I though he could be. Haven't seen it in the NFL either. Maybe I just expected too much. I suspect Houston is saying the same thing now.
