The place here in SWFla that is my go to is in Ft Myers....Insanely good. First time I went I ordered Veal Parmesan....and this masterpiece came out. I'm classically trained in Italian cuisine....and this blew me away. Not just Veal Parm....but Bone in Veal Parm...for me to call out the Executive Chef to the table, and rant about it, tells you all you need to know.View attachment 219556
Name of the place?

I’ve got to be in Ft. Myers this weekend for a cousin’s graduation, and I’d much prefer this veal parm to some frozen chicken I’ll likely be getting at the Cheesecake Factory.

What’s the name?

You ever been to Roccos in Winter Park?
Handmade fresh pasta everyday.

Felice’s over here in Palm Harbor is great too.
The owner offers Italian lessons.

Dammit off to the fridge now to eat something I am gonna regret.

Semper Canes!!!

Last time I did olive garden was about 2 years ago in plantation .... And I remembered why I hadn't been for about 10 years before that... Honestly it was terrible.... I mean the bread sticks were good but that's it...
The soup tasted like it was from a can that was sitting for a while and the chicken Parm had a puddle of water running off the sauce..... Couldn't eat it...gave it back.... Won't go there again...

Olive Garden didn’t go downhill, it ALWAYS sucked balls. That **** was just spaghetti O’s in a restaurant setting.

Not really....my Mom was born in Calabria...but there's plenty of Italians born in America that know how to cook Authentic Italian cuisine.

Of course there are but by in large, Italian food in the states has deviated quite a bit from authentic italian cooking.
